Bought a new LCI jack and they no longer have e the additional holes to just tap. Thanks Lippert for taking this in the complete wrong direction. Had to drill the holes and tap...really tight tolerance to get the head mounted for this. Lippert take note and redesign your Jack's to help this issue or put the holes back already tapped.

If you take the three mounting bolts off the tongue, support the trailer first then you can just turn the entire unit and reboot them in.

It would be great to know the brand of tongue jack. This does not work on all models.

Certainly! The Lippert (LCI) jack is demonstrated here. However, there are, quite literally, 20 other brands with the same configuration. The mfg of this jack markets to other brands, so it would be hard to identify all of them. However, if you have a Lippert style jack, this is for you.

You will need an extended hitch, then. Curt and Reese both make longer receiver bars.

@@HopPinandGo yeah I have to look into that. I may have to much tongue weight. As you extend your hitch it drastically lowers your tongue weight. I’ve also been thinking of moving the propane tanks so I can move the jack.

@@donaldappelhof2059 that may be a good option as well. Tongue weight is very important, so be sure to know what yours is and what any new configuration may be able to support.

@@HopPinandGo The sad thing is that all these Lipard frames are junk! I waiting for my tongue to break off! I think they come from China.
