I followed these instructions to the letter and this stuff turned the underbody of my brand new vehicle into a sticky mess. After taking it to Fraser and only spending one day on the beach I had to spend hours on my back under the vehicle scrubbing the sand off the chassis. I would have been better off not applying anything at all. It also stained my driveway despite having pressure washed it off immediately after the tedious application. I’m a big fan of Bowdens products. I have multiple shelves full of them, but this stuff is not recommended.

I’m really sorry to hear that has happened mate. Our testing early on revealed the importance of cure time on the surface, as we mention in this video, if left too long or not thoroughly rinsed off the film will cure thicker and be more likely to attract sand, and it sounds like one of those two things has happened to you here unfortunately. A spray with a cleaner like Down & Dirty and a quick scrub can normally remove this excess product from the surface, again like we show in this video. Your driveway issue is very strange and not something we have seen here with over 5 years of testing, could you send some photos of your driveway to [e-mail] so we can take a look at what might have happened there and find the best way to help you?
