I think my pantry is still suffering the effect of of lockdown, when supply chains were iffy. It says things like, "Um, there are only three jars of kalamatas in here. We're gonna run out soon." Poor, nervous little pantry. Can't wait to make this dish...looks so yummy!

LOL, my pantry still suffers from the same troubles. I play Bob Marley's "Dont worry about a thing", and it relaxes the shelves enough for me to get one or two things out.

I just made this and its sooo delicious but I didn't have the Jamaican jerk sauce instead I used hoisin sauce and it turned out pretty good so totally recommend :)))) thank you Andrew ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Makes sense, but the entire point of the meal is to use what you have. No asparagus? Use broccoli, or leek, etc... Hope that helps!

Kinda have to ask. Is aspargus and wild rice 'cheap' food in the US? Because it certainly isn't here. Asparagus is a local food here but it's expensive af.

Indeed! In the South of France, asparagus can be found for 9EUR a kg, but then you get the really thin ones.

Looks delicious, but impractical for most people on a daily basis, because it’s NOT easy and it’s NOT budget friendly. Asparagus is expensive even in season. In addition to many ingredients.
