Hello,
Today I brought some quick and simple recipes.
No butter! Vegan! Whole wheat scones.
I don't like vegan baking or low calorie baking.
I love butter and sugar. .
But I made this recipe without expectation
It's easy to make, healthy ingredients, low calorie and delicious.
I'm sure you'll like it, so I introduced it.
(The total calories is about 1783kcal. It's about 7 ~ 8 pieces, so it's about 222kcal per piece.
Good calorie for scones?)
This is a scone but feels less guilty and healthier
This is a nice scone to eat as a substitute for breakfast in the morning.
I made several and put them in the company's common freezer.
My colleagues like this scone too. ^^
Dough downtime is unnecessary and how to make is easy
Even if you start weighing, you can make it in 10 minutes.
If you have ingredients at home, give it a try.
Cause It's light and not greasy,
You may eat 3 or 4 pieces at a time.

▶ Ingredients (about 7 ~ 8 scones)
-150g Cake flour
-120g Whole Wheat Flour
-10g Baking Powder
-55g Unrefined Sugar (brown sugar)
-75g Vegetable oil
-75g Soy milk
-70g Walnut
-1g Salt
* Preheat oven before baking. For small ovens, opening and closing the door once will reduce the temperature inside the oven, so preheat it to a temperature much higher than the actual baking temperature.
I used muscovado as unrefined sugar and unsweetened soymilk. If you're using sweet soy milk, reduce the sugar a little.
Bake walnuts in advance to 160 degree C for 10 minutes or roast them in a dry pan.
You can make 100% whole wheat, but there are no dairy products such as butter or cream, so if you make wheat flour 100%, the texture will be a little stiff. I didn't want to make it like a dietary food, so I mixed it with flour. I gave a lot of questions about whether you can't make 100% whole wheat so I commented here.
1) Sift a large bowl with flour, whole wheat flour, unrefined sugar, baking powder, salt and mix well.
2) Add the oil and mix with a scraper. You can mix it until you get crumbles like a bean without big chunks.
3) Add the soy milk and mix it with a scraper. Absorb liquid into the powder. It will be going to get together. Once the clumps are together, add the walnuts and clump them together.
4) Once the clumps have been gathered, place them on the workbench, cut them in half, and overlap and press them. Repeat 4 ~ 5 times.
5) Roll it out with a rolling pin to make a square about 1.5cm thick. Cut the four edges with a knife and divide them into six equal parts. Bundle the remaining pieces into roughly one or two pieces and bake them together.
You don't have to cut the edges necessarily. It's optional.
6) Lightly apply soymilk to the surface with a brush. Bake for 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 190 degrees Celcius. (Unox convection oven).
Adjust the baking time / temperature according to your oven. The scones are better to bake on high heat enough.
