Love this card! The nice thing about 8-1/2 x 3-1/2 is you can use the leftover piece for your main image (assuming you don't need watercolor paper for it). I am so happy that you are doing the slimline card series. Having all the Trinity dies, I need all the inspiration you have to offer.

Gorgeous card, love the colour combo. Interesting that you say there is no standard for this type of card as in the UK there is, you can buy slim-line card blank and envelope packs. The cards measure 21x10cm and is really handy in saving your card base weight cardstock.

I meant standard as in A2, A7 etc etc which have a specific measurement regardless of where a person is located. Companies are making more and more "slimline" products but there's no set measurement standard for them - tho a lot of them are getting on board with this size (3.5 x 8.5") which is nice for consistency.

I love your tulips! They're so pretty! I'm so obsessed with slimline cards right now! I'm going to need the envelope maker. I used my A-2 size one whenever I want a cute envelope. It's a great way to use up my 12x12 pattern paper.

You can use it but you have to shift the die to cut the rest because it so long. I use my spellbinder platinum but I have longer plates from my other fir cutting machine so I just use the longer plates....
