Easy Way To Build A Horse Jump Coop

Hi Everyone!
Today I am going to show you how I built a coop for a horse jump. I built this jump for The Great Plains Pony Club in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Have you ever tried to find plans or instructions on how to build a coop for a horse jump? It was very challenging! After not being able to find any basic instructions, I decided to figure it out on my own, and I think it turned out really nice :)

For the bottom pieces of the brace, I used pressure treated lumber. This will help extend the lifespan of the wood. (also painted everything else)

You should try to find some pallets to use as wood so you don't have to buy so much lumber 😊

The cut that says it is 45 looks like a 22.5 so the top can sit together at 45 degrees

Hi! We tried building this and when we cut the 20in boards on a 45 degree angle, the 22 1/2 inch bottom board doesn't fit?

For the lumber it cost about $60.00 to build this coop. The coop I built is 10ft long total length, each section is 5ft long.

What kind of table saw is that? I've been trying to find one that I like for a while

Hi Aubrey Houze :) It is a Craftsman radial arm saw. My parents gave it to me about 6 years ago, and I love it! You can find them on Craigslist, usually for around $100.00 used. That isn’t 45 degrees

Mason is correct. Those are all 30 degrees. All tringles have a total of 180 degrees. You should contact this, I wasted two hours extra fooling with it and you lost credibility.
