@@Groundeffected i've actually got a bust with yellow accents to paint and i was thinking about using my white primer as a base coat on those area since i use it to zenithal highlights any way i think it would be easier. But since it's still kind of transparent maybe we see a tiny bit of red trough the yellow that made it more harmonious what do you think ?
@Groundeffected3 жыл бұрын
@@pier_lucdemontigny4635 sor he theory is that you should use pink under yellow to get the best results. So red wouldn’t be too far off from pink and adding white I guess makes it kinda pink

Is there a way you can break down or put in the description the colors you used for the face and eyes, and where to get or make the glaze you used, stunning work, looking forward to more
@Groundeffected3 жыл бұрын
I’ll have to do a whole video to break that down to be honest but a rough start would be the Vallejo fairy skin set. It’s really great range of colour for most skin tones. And I use most of them for making my skin tone in this video.

For yellow, have you ever tried first basing on like a dark gray or other color to help give a better build up for the yellow? Or do you find layering on yellow is more efficient or just as?
@Groundeffected2 жыл бұрын
The way I see it grey would need two layers to be smooth and then perhaps one to toe layers of yellow would do it. Or just 3-4 layers of yellow also do it so it’s kinda much of a muchness in my opinion

Awesome job! Leaving my suggestions: you might want not to use copyrighted music in your videos. There is a lot of great royalty-free music out there including here, on KZbin. Just search for royalty-free or copyright-free music. Also, please improve the video quality because the resolution of 360p is not good anymore even for a phone screen. Moreover, this is very subjective, but you might want to reconsider using that ending with the f-word. You know, just being more friendly tends to attract people more obviously. And one more thing, I wouldn't speed up the whole video. Some parts of the process should be shown at a normal speed, especially when painting something like eyes. Apart from that, thank you for your content. Keep it up, man!
@Groundeffected3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the Feedback. My thoughts on music are if I don’t earn a penny from days worth of working on a video then it doesn’t take away from me using copyrighted music at the moment (at least someone will earn money from the video). As for the resolution I don’t know why but KZbin takes forever to fully render the video I assure you this was recorded in 1080 and 2k and upscaled to 4k usually takes a day or two to fully render on KZbin. As for the ending lol, that’s just me in a nutshell my friends irl love that ending cos they say it couldn’t be more me than that hahahaha. And about the whole video being sped up I get what you mean but really the video is already 10mins long and looking at the analytics people don’t watch past 3-4mins as it is so I would rather do another video at another time just on eyes for example. This video is more of a brief overview of how it’s done, I will be hopefully elaborating on certain techniques in future videos. Really appreciate the time to leave your suggestions, please feel free to leave them for me I’m always happy to hear what you have to say and I will work on it in the future posts. Hope at least one thing helps you with the video then I know it’s done it’s job. Also please check back on the resolution thing in a day or so and let me know if that improved (it is annoying how much time I spent making sure the resolution was spot on for KZbin to take its time Rendering the had version)

I am really loving your content man. Keep it coming! I got some FDM printers for cosplay and it is slow and tedious. Question. Can you do 1/3-1/4th scale characters on let's say.... a Mars 2 Pro? I assume you can if you can cut them but do you have experience with it? Videos showing pieces you've done? FDM... no bro. I am not doing it. One month for a Thor statue at tiny layer lines you have to sand between muscles and stuff. It just won't actually look good. I do not care what anyone says. Off the bed they may look great. Once you prime them after days of sanding all the layer lines come right back.
@Groundeffected2 жыл бұрын
You can get away with large scale on a Mars 2 but honestly you’ll struggle with 1/4 scale of day look for one size up and you’ll be much better off.
