Hey there Steve. Once again you're right on the ball... Thank's for this short yet quite important video. I actually have 2 stone cutters of the same company as the one in this video. I sort of minimize this problem by not letting these, or any of my small machines in the back of my pick-up truck. 1st it's prown to robbery but also... We being in the business of seasonal work. Therefore time is if the upmost impotence. This is where the majority of the clogging comes from. I noticed if I'd use the saw with water to start the day... no clogging... but, if I started the day using it without water. Just because of the night dew, that humidity in the machinery would help that dust stick like crazy... Including air filters, spring's...etc.. Now I'm going to say something that makes EVEY COMPANY OWNER CRINGE !!!! The best way of prolonging small machineries lifespan is one thing & one thing only.... MAINTENANCE !!! MAINTENANCE !!!! & yes. .. MAINTENANCE !!!

Alot of my job is masonry and theres rarely a day we dont use those saws. Love em hate em. Somehoe only recently found out about the screw plug. I was always told u have to pull tge entire bolt, that black strap bracket, and to aid in getting those damn square nuts back in their slots the blade too haha. We have problems with little granite flecks clogging the holes that run perpendicular to the jet hole but i bet this will still make it easier to unclog. Only two improvements (beside weight reduction) i can see on those saws. 1: a REAL hose clamp on that damn tubing, the crimp clamp they use has popped on every saw weve ever had after six months (we have 4 now and 2 that finally bit the dust but are good parts). And 2: a better way to secure the feet on the bottom (maybe even just wheels) cus u can use the feet to slide the saw forward into the cut (so ur not pullin out of the cut all the time and getting a wavy cut line) but doing so tends to tear them off after a few months or a year. Great video. Glad to see all these tips!

Steve, just food for thought but could you do a video on how to install and adjust a throttle cable and choke cable (manual and automatic) on a push or riding mower. Fairly simple job but I have met a few folks over time that just can't get it back to where it was when they attempt to do it. Handle never seems to be back in the original position. What was full throttle is now choke and what was choke is not the choke any longer. Keep up the great videos.

Those concerte saws are amazimng machinery, especially the stihl ones, but as they are used one of the dirtiest environments, dust and water slush, their airfilters and water jets must be cleaned after days work, it makes all the difference.. Steve good day to you, I have a question that I'm hoping that you can help me with. I own a Murry 13B326JC758 Murray 30" Riding mower. The mower itself has very low mileage and is used only 3 to 4 times a year at a vacation home that I own. The issue that I am having is the drive belt for the blade keeps breaking and I have changes the belt three times to date. I am only getting one cut before the belt break. The belt is tearing apart from the inside of the belt and not form the outside. I've changes all the pulley's with include the Spindle Assembly and the two other pully's that the belt rides on. All the pully's are lined up correctly I used a metal straight edge to check. All the Pulley's are OEM Parts form Murray including the belts. At this point I'm lost and hoping that you have a clue or lead my in the right direction....

i want to add water to my saw. I thought a mist of fine spray would be best, thinking that keeping dust down was the priority. Am I mistaken about that ? Now I realize that keeping the blade cool is most important. Should I forget about misting down the dust and just figure the water spatters will take care of the dust part of the problem ?

This vid shows a strong red border round it, so it looks like I've seen it already because it's very similar to the progress bar on your other vids I've viewed all the way through.
