I have the front 3 link. I’m sitting at 4.5 lift with 32’s . Feels more stable than the short arm I had , however, the ride is the same as my short arm when it comes to vibrations from bumps. I suspect it’s because my short arm has rubber bushings at all ends , while these only have rubber at the axle end.

I have their adjustable short arms and 3" lift. Going to 4.5" when I put the long arms in. Just waiting for my sye and front yoke and full length frame stiffeners to be installed. Glad to hear the 3-link is stable at that height.

I am surprised you put the rubber bushings on the lower arms on the axle side. I would have thought the ball joint ends went axle side, rubber bushing frame side?

Dumb question, why not hit the factory lower mounts with a cut-off wheel or even a plasma cutter & get it out of the way all together?

I have the same exact rear driveshaft shaft with my jeep and I’m trying to get started with the rear 4 link install. Is this going to work?

@matthew7972 How much lift do you have, or will you have? What transfer case do you have? If it is the exact same driveshaft, you should be good. The slip yoke has quite a bit of travel in it. The Jeep in the video has 4" lift but used the OEM rear driveshaft up to 6.5" of lift and only swapped it out because of a transfer case swap. @@IronRockOffRoad I have the 4.7L Quadra drive 2 system (247J transfer case) and I bought the 6.5” rock link pro lift from you guys. The 3 link in the front and 4 link rear. I have 33” tires with the D30 front/D44A rear. Front driveshaft is double card an and rear is that single ujoint with that balancer I greatly appreciate the responses as this is gonna be my first time ever working on my first jeep. I also bought the 1-ton steering kit form you guys and pleased with the quality

@matthew7972 It sounds like you have the exact same Jeep as the one in the video. It is a 2003 Overland, so it has the 4.7L HO, Quadra drive (247 transfer case), & D30/D44A axles. I wouldn't hesitate to install the full 6.5" Rock-Link PRO kit. The original front double cardan shaft and your OEM rear shaft should be good. The WJ 1-ton steering is a great kit, if you want to turn it into an Over The Knuckle (OTK) kit we can help you out with that. OTK makes your front-end geometry much better at 5.5" of lift and above. With a set of long arms it's easier to reach things that are up high on the shelves at the market and if you get into a fight it gives you reach on the other guy ... I hope this has given you insight on the benefits of long arms .

I just bought the Rock link 3 link long arm kit. It says in the description no cutting required. So does the muffler have to be cut off? or that just made it easier for you? Idk I think the video description might be a little confusing or wrong.

The 3 link is our front suspension, and no exhaust modification is required for that. This video is for the rear 4 link, which DOES require exhaust modification.

So to get side to side measurement adjust your uppers but thought upper is for pinion angle

Build your own. I have this kit , bought the exhaust , after 3 months I tossed the exhaust. Honestly, your better off building your own . You can fit a Borla stainless muffler between the front and back cross members from the long arm kit with room to spare. You will need to cut off and toss your 3rd cat tho , that is where the Borla muffler will now go. Make sure you get a offset exit on the muffler. That is the only way this works. The exit lines up perfect next to the side of the back cross member. From there , you can route your exhaust. Or as an alternative you can connect a 12 in long turn down exhaust tip. This tip ends up right at the back and next to the cross member. Once that is in place , you can drill 2 small holes and add an exhaust hanger to the cross member. World of a difference and man oh man that Borla sounds amazing.
