Ok, I really liked your video, professional, clear and thank you for the links. I did each step as you said and I still come up with the "Missing Driver" error. It does take considerably longer to get to the error however the error is still hanging me up. Got any more ideas? I am desperately trying to bring my friends WIN 10 back to WIN 7. I need to format the drive which is a SSD stick on the motherboard. Dell insperation... all out of ideas.

Did this exact method and still have the same problem. I've unplugged the USB and plugged it back in during the main install screen and that didn't help. I've changed UEFI to legacy, turned usb 3.0 off and even changed usb ports, all failing to get passed this error code. What am I doing wrong?

​@@Guy-b6dI was installing on a newer MOBO/cpu combo that needed the drivers injected before the install. After that there was still a couple problems but tbh, I forgot what we did to fix it. At the end of the day, we got it installed properly 👍

Thanks works like a charm. In my case I just needed the first option, the USB drivers. NVME is probably so the installer recognizes NVME drive so you can install windows on it, no idea what the third option is about. In my case it was sata pcie SSD so it was fine with only USB drivers.

downloading Windows USB Installation tool: but many choices, look up my CPU and it's Intel Celeron. choices are: "Support intel Z370 series" , "Support Intel 100/200/X299 series", "Support Intel Braswell series". my Laptop says Intel Celeron, but there is no support for intel celeron

it works! with the drivers I could see the disks, But I couldn’t install cause partitions where on GPT, I had to use Ctrl+Shift+F10 use diskpart command and clean (IMPORTANT clean your HD could erase all your data even in other partitions or other OS you have in the PC)

windows 7 latest iso doesn't encounter this error ...but after installation not a single usb port is working with this windows 7...i have same series hp laptop like you...can you tell me how to make them work...thanks in advance :)

The USB problem also comes from lack of the right drivers, but at least one of the USB should work, in any case, upgrading the OS to windows 8 or 10 solves these driver issues, otherwise you may have to manually install the USB drivers

This did not work for my Asus u47a laptop. The pc had Win8 on it (Was designed for Win7) I slow formatted hard drive, but upon boot the pc thought it was trying to repair Win8 (Hidden partition that did not format?)Tried 2 different gigabyte apps, the one you suggested, and one for Intel chip set. Win7 setup still cant find drivers. Question: If USB drivers are the issue, then how does the win7 install boot up in the first place? Please forgive my ignorance .Any ideas?

Hi. I have a question. I have an HP Stream laptop. It came with Windows 8 or 10. I cant tell. A hacker got into this laptop somehow and created huge files that i cant delete taking up most of the virtual memory. This laptop has no hard drive. So since i cant delete these huge files because of the file attributes or something, I tried to do a system reset by rewriting the entire partition back to factory level. The one I try that option it says there's not enough memory to continue. It said try deleting files first then try again. But I can't delete any more space or any more files off of that drive that would give me just enough to do a system reset. So I decided to hook up an external DVD drive for which I have a Windows 7 factory disc in. But when I run it I get to the point where it says there's a DVD driver that it needs for the USB port. Would I use something like Nero to create an ISO file of my Windows 7 disk? And then copy that ISO file over to a USB drive? Then perform your procedure which would maybe modify the ISO?

Hi, this worked perfectly, and so I was able to install Windows 7 Pro 64-bit via a boot/install flash drive... BUT... when I inserted another USB flash drive to install the drivers, it won't recognize the drive! The computer is a Dell Optiplex 7050 Micro (no optical drive). So now I have a PC that has Windows loaded, but I can't install anything else because it doesn't see the flash drive when I plug it in. I can't connect to the internet either, because I need the wifi/ethernet drivers as well.. Can you kindly advise as to what I can try? Thanks.....
