Masya Allah. This shaykh should be health guru as well. I tried a 5 day Intermittent Fasting last month and was looking at videos about what happens on day three onward. It's true, I was really alert. Apparently something to do with the brain adapting to using protein as an energy source. One big problem for me was insomnia. Was wide awake at 2 am onwards.

@@aichaaicgq4650 it was Soo hard. But worth it. I ate lean chicken and water. Then when I lost weight I drank black coffee with milk. Coffee ruins appetite. I was addicted to sugar. I cannot eat a piece of candy. I will binge.

It’s so weird people now our days do intermittent fasting or eat once a day. Out of diet fad or trend, it’s sad that’s our sunnah or way of life.

My whole life. I ate one meal a day. I did fine. Then I was told 6 tiny meals a day. So I broke 1 meal a day into 6 tiny meals. It does not work. I still eat 1 meal a day for most days. 2-3 days a month. I tend to eat more. . .

Avoid salty, sugary and greasy foods. Lots of vegetables and poultry. When you get hungry it will be more bearable. Staying hungry will be much easier. Swallow a piece of garlic as if it were a blood pressure pill everyday. This also helps. Eat whole foods. Vegetables, fruits, chicken, fish, meat, eggs, nuts, seeds. Nothing that comes in a package, a bag or a can.

@@marutank1367 we eat a lot more food than we think we need to eat. You eat meat, enjoy sensual activities waste your energy eat more meat, for no reason. You are just adding a lot of unnecessary karma on your soul, and all this you will have to pay in the court of Dharama Raj (King Yami) after you die. Then you will regret it. Oh ok, apart from fasting (which has the benefits he mentioned) which is not a daily habit it’s done occasionally in the month of Ramadan and other few days. Or when he had no food where multiple meals were not an option, and sometimes no food at all, I’ve never heard about what this guy is talking about, I’m gonna need an authentic Hadith on this one meal thing because it’s sounds a little bit ridiculous, meanwhile I’m just gonna stick to healthy 5 meals a day with the 2 of them being snacks, and some cheat meals here and there. Because this is unnecessary suffer for a person to put himself through

assamualaikum, apparently there's a science behind Intermittent Fasting. If you don't allow your blood glucose enough time to go down to base level, your body is unable to use the stored energy (fats in the body). It takes about 8 to 12 hours without calorie intake to reach that level. However, theoretically 5 meals a day is fine if you take less than 2000 cal a day. Insyallah. But I'm no nutritionist or doctor.

He said eating food for nutrition for body and yah ! over-indulging in food is also not healthy for common people. Those who train physically hard like soldiers and body builders are required to eat several times a day. But as a common natural person, it is also better to eat less and eat right foods which he meant, its already the correct amout of food your body needed. Its both. Again, we can do that for some time. Then, we have that trend of cheat days where we can eat those delicious foods which are not considered healthy by health perspective. To conclude, one shall have mastery over his or her stomach, the hunger. And, it does have health benefits which he mentioned. Its scientific.

Not to meantion I also have a cheat meals here and there, anyone who thinks otherwise it’s okay but try not to force your opinion on everyone, most of time prophet ate that way because he didn’t have enough food and that’s all he had, and I need an authentic Hadith on this one meal thing because it’s sounds a little bit ridiculous
