I lived in Aiea and still in Aiea and I never knew about this place. Well not anymore I had to try Amanda Plate. I introduce myself to them and told them that I just watched you folks on you tube and that's how I found out about them. The food is AWESOME!! This is my go to place now for lunch now. I think the pink/peach pieces on top of Amanda’s halo-halo is nata de coco (coconut gel) or nata de piña (pineapple gel). The food and desserts looked sarap (deelish)! Glad you both loved the adobo fried rice. My favorite shave ice flavors are lychee/guava/lilikoi. Keep the great videos coming. Can’t wait to get back to the islands!

Hi Amanda and Felix! We just came back from our weeklong Hawaii vacation and I am so grateful for all the food videos that you have been showing us. It helped us save a lot of time choosing where and what to eat. My favorites were Guieb Cafe’s Porterhouse, Pancakes and Waffles’ Loco Moco ( im so craving for it now!) and Ted’s Garlic Shrimp. This kind of plate lunch is what I dream about. I'm Filipino so say pork adobo and I am in. Then put it in fried rice excellent. Then some tasty meat dishes. I am getting really hungry. Thanks for this. Mahalo and Aloha.

Aloha Amanda & Felix. First, heard two rooster sounds (lol!), second, I'm going to be dreaming of those desserts, I'm willing to pay the extra $$ for them and third, those plate lunches were HUGE and looked super ono, glad to hear they have shrimp dishes too. I've gained 10 virtual pounds by just watching this vlog :) My favorite shave ice flavors that I normally get are lychee, guava and either mango or haupia. I'm looking forward to your next vlog and as always, you will always have my support!
