My mom makes Kraft the regular way but adds the block kind of velvetta to it! It's extremely yellow and yummy! She just cuts of about a inch or so and has it melt on the pasta!

Same! My 3 year old hates vegetables and I'm 32 weeks pregnant so I want my son to start eating healthy before the baby comes so I don't have to deal with trying to get him to eat healthy foods while managing a newborn. I'm gonna make it for him for lunch today and see if he likes it.

As I'm writing this comment I'm currently making dinner. So the veggie cheese sauce has been done and just waiting on the pasta and our chicken. Things I did a little different was eyeball things, also used unfrozen butternut squash (because I wasn't paying attention during the recipe and didn't have time to freeze it) add a tiny bit of chopped onion when pureeing, used Himalayan pink salt instead of seasalt, ground Pepper and also added a bit of ground mustard (which I do to all my Mac and cheese for a bit of extra flavor) j tasted the sauce already and it's amazing. So far I haven't found a recipe you've made that I and the family haven't loved. Thank you so much. I can finally get my daughter who has constitutional growth delay but is also a weirdly picky eater to get some extra nutrition in her

Of course not, I'd say Meg just had some leftover cut up butternut squash in her freezer that she wanted to use. Use whatever you have, sweet potato would work great also.

just made this and turned out perfectly. I added a little more of every ingredient and good thing because I had just enough sauce for the amount of pasta I made. my kids loved it and are have zero idea it has veggies in it. I hope to keep it that way by making the sauce when they are at school or at night if need be and putting in fridge till needed.

Meg you need to try watermelon icecream ! Only thing you need is a watermelon and icecream sticks, first you cut the watermelon in to triangels then you put in the icecream sticks and put them in the frezer for 30 min or more. If you want your kids can dekoret the icecream sticks .
