Dude, you eat better in a deserted island than I do at home. You're an amazing cook.

You can eat like this too, if you have the resources and the skills. People have been brainwashed into depending on the “system” for food. You can go to the source and get it yourself. It’s up to you.

Hey Rod, a little tip for you mate. When cooking crispy skin fish don't try to turn it if it's stuck to the pan. It will free itself when it's ready to turn the same as a steak will if you want it rare. Leaving the fish till it frees itself also means the skin wont be rubbery too. Try it next time and you may be pleasantly surprised. Every time I do it this way the skin is nice and crispy, just the way you want it.

Those lines of clouds are usually caused by wind moving in an oscillating wave pattern. Temperature variations in the atmosphere can deflect high-altitude winds slightly upwards or downwards and this can sometimes set up an oscillating wave. Clouds form where the air is being deflected upwards but don't tend to form on the downward side of each wave. This results in stripes of cloud. Gliders sometimes fly along the upward-moving wave and can use this to ascend to very high altitudes.

OMG, Just amazing as usual, you have me cooking more outside, on my lil portable fuel burner stove, love the lil fuel cans, everything so light and portable. But I did upgraded recently to an electric 1200watt single burner cooktop, for out on the back lanai, cuz my lil French Bulldog just goes crazy for the fresh fish I cook up, usually Yellowtail Snapper, or my preferred favorite, Mahi-mahi, found for at home and not stinking up the house the lil electric single burner cooktop is a winner. Really though you were my inspiration to getting back to cooking up some fresh eats, with the cilantro, garlic, chilies, salt and pepper, sweet onion and a lil tomato pcs, sautéed in MCT Oil, or Safflower oil, OMG, it really has been life changing, I almost sound like you with the enjoyment eating out back as a minimalist with some awesome eats, and my Frenchie has to have his before all the flavors are added of course, he goes absolutely nuts for fresh cooked up fish with Dad. Thank you so much Rod for sharing your adventures and ways of cooking so fresh, clean, and simple, as a minimalist, just love it!

Little suggestion for what's left in the frypan after you have removed the fish. Put it back on the fire, sprinkle a bit of flour at the bottom then throw in the extra dressing of the salad with perhaps a little bit of water. Deglaze the pan with it and you will be left with a beautiful thick kind of gravy mix with the taste of fish and aromatics from the salad, The gravy will not run off your chopping board.
