In the Jewish Community it is customary for them to dine at Chinese Restaurants on Christmas because they do not celebrate Christmas. Often the Chinese restaurants where the only restaurants open on Christmas thus the tradition was began of eating Chinese food on Dec. 25th. Love your videos.

Derek was our waiter, and despite having several other tables including one large party with very picky eaters he was very attentive the entire time .he got us extra sauce, made sure to fill our waters, and brought the check right away. The food was delicious and brought out so quickly

Hey Daym! I'm a native New Yorker; the best Chinese food I ever tasted was at Lichi Nut on Montague Street in Brooklyn. They are "old school" i.e. great food, waiters with a funky attitude, but the food is so good, you don't mind. My go-to dish was won ton soup, spare ribs, pork lo mein, and egg roll. Prices are a little elevated, but the food is really good.

They just brought this man a hot towel... I'm about to hop on a plane and come to CT just to try this place out! We have a WONDERFUL Chinese Restaurant near me called "Asian King". They have THE BEST Chinese food I've ever personally had. They have the best crab rangoon IMO, and I've yet to try a dish there that I didn't find delicious. I've ordered so many dishes from there, its hard to pick a favorite... I guess either the General Tso's Chicken or the Curry Chicken Soup. If you're ever in or around Beavercreek, Ohio, come on over and check it out!

Being from Connecticut and now, for many years, living in San Francisco and the Bay Area, I see the difference between authentic Chinese and Americanized Chinese food. That doesn't mean I always choose an authentic dish, but I think if you expand your palette insted of staying in the 'safe' zone , meaning the food you love is the food you always order. Occasionally, for the fans, you should, alongside your favorite fav, something off the chef's special list, that they don't make every day. Just sayin... cause I'm looking to you next visit to my parents in CT to guide me to my new favorite restaurant in CT :)
