That place is legit. I absolutely love the steam bags and stuffed potatoes. I never had a meal I didn't like. I haven't been there in a long time. But as a foodie I've always noticed that when spots expand and open up new restaurants the quality lacks a bit until they figure it out. Thanks for reminding about this place. Daym… seriously next season you gotta go to Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock in New London CT! You will not be disappointed with whatever you get! I have had the lobster rolls… Both hot and cold and they are awesomesauce!!! The New England clam chowder, lobster bisque, fried shrimp, clam fritters and onion rings are da domb!!! If you ever go and ever include a foodie fam guest I will do it with yah and we can split everything! One of the best lobster rolls I have ever had and it’s right by the water in New London CT!

Everything is Better with Real Butter, Like Irish Kerry Gold Butter and Heavy Cream and More Kosher Flake Salt, and something I like to do with My Macaroni and Cheese Bake Fresh Herbs and Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Fresh Ricotta Cheese and Smoked Guyere and or Smoked Provolone and Sausage and Roasted Peppers (I like Scotch Bonnets) ohh and Peppercorn Medley Grinder, great flavour.

Now that I think about it what might be better than those Hot peppers Is Poblano peppers and on top of that you could roast them with the garlic 🧄😁, before mixing them in with the Mac and cheese before you bake it. Also a Pro -Tip that I forgot to mention when making Mac and cheese especially if you are using Sharper Cheeses is to add a small amount of Dried English Mustard to the mix, it Really Makes the Cheese flavours Pop. I would recommend using a very small amount at first depending on the size of your batch, maybe a half teaspoon or a whole teaspoon. After you try it a couple times you can adjust the amount to suit your taste but as a general rule don't go overboard with it.

Yeah the cheese sauce in the mac has what we call "broken". If you use the cheap American cheese it has emulsifiers that keep the cheese together. The mac isn't that fresh, but at least you know they were using real cheese. I add a couple slices to my besh to make that macy wacky.
