The rice reminds me of the fried rice I used to have as a Sunday treat after work. Me and a work mate walking home, wielding plastic forks, tucking into the tastiest fried rice from a tiny Chinese takeaway near Mitchams Corner in Cambridge. It was a laugh at the end of a hard day. I haven’t had fried rice as good as that in yonks.

@@Ultradude604hi are you from America or Australia? I’ve heard everyone has to park facing the same direction facing the same direction as the traffic in the adjacent lane? Here in the uk it’s a free for all and it causes traffic delays and pandemonium at night when people are struggling to park after work. Apparently the reason we don’t do it is because we don’t have the space in towns and cities for parallel parking and we have way too many motors That was a proper boring piece of information and chat from me sorry lol Take care

That Chinese curry sauce has a is totally different from the Chinese curry sauce served in Irish takeaways which is always yellow and very tasty. that looks more like an Indian curry tomato based sauce? Now I understand why a takeaway you visited in The UK 😊😊offered Irish Curry sauce

That Mountain Dew, I want to say the flavor is called Melon Mayhem, is actually alright. Waaaay too sweet, but all Mountain Dew is. VooDew thy comes out around Halloween is really unique. A new flavor every year. One year it tasted like gummy bears and another was candy corn.

Looks to be about the same price as in NYC $31:83 dollars,except you would get 2 containers of white rice to go with the beef dish,and the curry.also there didn’t seem to be any meat in the rice,or noodles.The food looked good,but I have never had Chinese curry,it’s just not a popular thing here.

Hi mate I absolutely love you and your videos Love how much you enjoy your meals love your spirit and everything about the vids and I’d love to check out the places you visit. I don’t want to be a negative Nelly at 16:51 all and don’t want to be that guy But as a chef of 26 years I have a couple of little constructive critiques (not criticisms I promise ) As a chef or cook or whatever anyone wishes to call us weirdos. If we know a much followed and respected reviewer such as your self comes in to a place of business then there is more pressure to make sure that the best possible food leaves the kitchen. Which I wholeheartedly disagree with in principle (should be the best for every customer) but unfortunately it’s a thing still. Other one is just that if you are reviewing takeaway shops as a take away maybe do a collection versus delivery? With delivery The quality degrades a lot of the time, not by the fault of the restaurant might I add. Sometimes with the apps a driver may go to two or three gaffs to pick up food before they even start delivering so I won’t use them anymore I think it’s best to collect or get it hand delivered from restaurant. I think it would be wicked if you could pick like three of your all time faves and get them delivered and review the end results and compare just as a little brucey bonus video Sorry I’m banging on and I’m not trying to bring the mood down Hope all is good in your world man and keep doing the reviews as you make us all smile and very hungry Also I did watch the old reviews when you had stuff at home My personal fave video of yours was when you went to a little old post office that had massive scones loaded with filling Sorry to everyone who had to endure this diatribe of a comment Peace and love to all of you x

Bit on the thinner side the curry sauce. More cornflour in the sauce than spices. Don't look bad, heavy on chilli powder and turmeric by the looks of it. Still looks good

This is weird as we nearly always order the same Chinese 'set up' but if Indian or pizza etc, always mix it up and try different. Anyone else weird like us? Salt & Pepper chicken wings BBQ Ribs Chicken Kung Po Garlic & Chilli King Prawn Fired Rice & Noodles. Mikes Chippy Skelmersdale - highly recommend it. Top food and often a good laugh too.

I just go special mixed curry, egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls with Chinese Unless it’s a mix with Japanese then I might get a cheeky Yaki udon I used to get spare ribs a lot but there never seems to be as much if any meat on them down south

We all have are favourites don’t we. It’s just what we grow up on and what you get use to and you will never beat that. But I would highly recommend. Hung fong in Selby and try a beef curry with chips. No other curry sauce like it or the chips. I’ve tried a lot of different Chinese and never had anything that comes close to there curry sauce or ever seen chips like there’s 👍
