Such an interesting and underrated topic and one I’ve wondered about a lot. As Muslims we believe that all things have a double nature, a physical and spiritual component. The ablution for example isn’t just a crude hygiene routine but a ritual purification designed to cleanse us internally and externally in preparation for our Lord. And especially in a world where our consumption habits have been given dominion of our soul, this topic becomes even more invaluable. I can’t wait to benefit from this series. Jazakallah for the upload! May Allah reward you with all that is good in this world and even better in the next!

Wa alaykum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh. Nobody has ever said I'm a brilliant speaker and I disagree. However, this content has been thought out and in shaa Allah it will be compelling because it will correct us. The teaching has been affecting me, making me think about my consumption within the food web and whether I'm eating for Allah or not.

Sorry if I can't go into carbs discussion right now. Turn to Allah and put trust in Him to tune in to what you really need These lessons are aiming at the higher purpose of our eating for now.

4:57 Salam I dont think sugar and carbohydrates are bad, not even in slight excess, after all our prophet Muhammad ﷺ ate dates, figs, pomegranates, canteloupes, honey, & grapes, and drank milk It's preservatives, colouring, emulsifiers, stabilizers, excess polyunsaturated fats, excess iron, excess copper, and a bad calcium to phosphate ratio that's affecting our health a lot Most of those problems can be fixed by drinking raw milk more than eating muscle meat, drinking raw honey, and eating dates
@abdullahreed10 күн бұрын
I think I agree with what you're saying. However, individuals have different needs. Rather, though, this talk is not about that. The purity of food is significant. Dates are mentioned directly in Allah's book. Alhamdulillah. Raw milk is great. Eat meat when you need meat but not when you don't, and be grateful. It will mean it go to a good place in shaa Allah. Further, fish is easier to produce, process, and consume. Allah says it's tender meat and it is. It has no bones and requires less chewing, saving a lot energy. The fish is shaped closer to a fruit, offering its flesh. On the other hand, a cow is a bony animal, so don't target the flesh. The flesh of a cow is tough. It has been used to carry the huge animal for a few years, so it is tough. So we should be looking to livestock for milk, rather than meat, as they will produce it fast once the animal reaches maturity, in shaa Allah. We eat their meat too, and thank Allah, and we know it's good, but they produce milk well and they enjoy it so it is tasbih, in shaa Allah. The human is not to control his own diet too much (Q 2:61), but rather to accept what Allah provides, consume it without injustice or waste, and be grateful, in shaa Allah.

@ I agree, it's just that not only is milk one of the healthiest and tastiest foods and a sunnah, it's also one of the easiest foods to produce or get so we might as well get it coz it's like 4 in 1, and muscle meat is harder to get and less healthy and less tasty and not a direct sunnah, that's all I was saying, ik it didn't rlly have a fully direct connection to ur video

Yes milk is in another class. Allah talks about it directly in the Qur'an. Alhamdulillah
