Eddie. I wasn't sure how I felt toward you, leading up to this fight. I had a TON of respect for you and all that you had accomplished up to that point. You seem like a genuine, down to earth guy, but the venom and what seemed like hatred you had toward Thor was a bit of a turn off for me. Watching this video and listening to you speak from the heart with humility and honesty has given me a different view of you. Not as an athlete, but as a man. You are truly a great definition of what a real man is and should be. I wish nothing but success, good health, and good fortune to you and your family in the future to come. God bless.

It's understandable for emotions coming into play leading up to and immediately after an event involving such powerhouses such as yourself. It speaks volumes for you both to see the respect between you two now that the smoke has cleared from all of this. Immense respect and admiration has been earned for both of you because of it. This to me proves how it was all just emotions interfering and that at the end of the day you are both champions in and outside of events. I personally don't see how either of you can log a loss for any placing you achieve at any of your events. Even if not in "1st" place you are still accomplishing more than the majority of the population on earth would in your competitions. That is a win all day long! You also didn't loose to Thor, you came in second to him in an event that no one else could have managed! Next time you'll make it his turn! I think Thor should get the tattoo as well to completely bury the hatchet and carry on being the champions that you both are. Do it together because that would further prove what legends you both are.

Eddie what i realized after this fight, is that win or lose, Me and all the real people that look up to you will never stop being your fan or stop watching you. I turned to the KZbin comments after you lost, and saw everyone ridiculing you who doesn't know any context about your life or how inspirational your life is. They just hate you because sometimes you banter or talk trash. In reality you banter but you are a better man than every single one of them, and i know that in my heart. I've been watching you since i was 14 to now 19 years old almost 20. I don't watch you for your accomplishments, muscles, or fighting skills. I watch you because you are a good man, that has a good heart, and is willing to work harder than everyone else to get what he wants in life. I don't look up to anyone in life, and have never wanted to meet a celebrity. You are the first and only celebrity i would want to approach and talk to in real life, because you are a good, understanding, and caring man. Everyone loses in life, but its the choice to learn from your mistakes which makes you stronger. You are a living testament of this Eddie. Big love -Jojo

Well then why doesnt he say sorry for what he did and move on, you shouldnt get away with that shit and he clearly just wanted to "move on" because he was in the wrong and didnt want to end it with class and acceptance, tarnishing Eddies name in the process which is why Eddie was "showing his ass" for so long as you put it. If you understood the situation clearly you wouldnt be saying that. Even though you still probably see it clearer than most people, im saying you maybe you shouldnt be so even spread on the situation, doesnt mean you have to hate either one. Thor is making it seem one way and still manipulating the situation a little bit to this day which is STILL is not right. But they have fought and punched each other in the face so that pre much wipes the slate clean which is best for them. Eddie gotta learn severe self restraint. Even Mike Tyson had to hold a lot of mental anguish during both his career and personal life. Most boxers start losing concentration during a match once they get frustrated, angered, tired, scared, or is affected by any other emotional distress. Doing so can cost you getting knocked out in a boxing match. Hats off to you, Mr Hall. Heart of a champion. (Yes, the "Mom" comments were a wee bit over the top, but all is well that ends with the class you are showing here). Both of you are legends and inspirations to us all. Next? I say a robot-dance off between the two of you.

Nothing but respect for you as a person and how you handled your close defeat speaks volumes regarding the content of your character.

This is how you take a loss!. No double talk, no excuses, mutual found respect and being able to take the shots thrown your way. So much respect!

I'm not gonna lie... there was a subtle bit of double talk regarding 'taking losses'... but nothing unsavoury.

Difference between British and Americans. (Maybe not all). We take a humble pie and accept defeat but from what I’ve seen from Americans they suddenly list all reasons why it’s rigged etc. Deontay Wilder is best example

@@MrSteamedchicken You really can't use country (or any kind of background) when discussing this. It comes down to the individual, nationally has very little to do with this.

@@guraqtinvu8385 Well no. I’ve seen a couple of examples of this and yes country can play a factor due the culture on how people are raised. Again I did clearly state (not all).

@@MrSteamedchicken that would be like me saying "Icelandic people (maybe not all)don't know how to take a loss because of how thor acted at the wsm" see how little sense that makes?

Eddie, thanks for the great message. Seeing pre-fight spot had me baffled for you and Thor. After the fight it was great to see you both be true sportsman and respect one another. I've fought a few times and there was only 1 fight where my opponent was not sportsmanlike. He'd already went in without the crowd behind him, no one was behind him when he quit, and everyone had it out for him when he just sat there and sulked away. Only piece of advice and you know this, technique technique technique. You already have the stamina! You and Thor are both great people, great role models, and much appreciated by us all. Cheers Mate!
