My understanding is that Yolanda was where the term "almond mom" originated because Gigi said she was hungry or sick or something, and Yolanda told her to eat a couple of almonds
@spyduhgirl4 ай бұрын
Yep Gigi said she was hungry & dizzy iirc and Jolanda told her to eat a couple of almonds & have lots of water, because Gigi was getting ready for an upcoming photo shoot & had to "cut the weight".
@lindaaguirre74674 ай бұрын
Yolanda told Gigi to eat a few almonds when she felt sick and faint during a photo shoot. This was on an episode of Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is the mom the term “almond mom” coined for.

I agree. A veggie soup only makes sense as a whole meal for me if you can add some legumes to it (or, you know, eat some protein on the side) and a serving of decent carbs too, whether that's some grains, potatoes, pasta, corn, bread... I just love my meals balanced.

I hope you can find some cardamom soon because it is ❤🔥when brewed in with your coffee. We have multiple Yemeni coffee shops around here and they have cardamom coffee, as well as cardamom/cinnamon/ginger coffee. Soooo good.

Lovely video. I agree with that they need more carbs, beans and pulses mainly. Yolander's dinner reminds me when My mum used to make a lovely, clear, veg soup when i came home for my lunch break when i first started work. We mopped it up with bagettes and English tea!

Rose I had to quit coffee 4 months ago 😭it was giving me insane perimenopause symptoms…constant hot flashes, panic attacks and anxiety, insomnia, chest palpitations, and more 😢 so I switched to matcha and voila! All better! I drink mine Americano style, just the hot water, not sweetened. I used to like it latte style and sweetened but for some reason I’m liking it this way now. Maybe depends on the matcha powder.

Great video. For proper spiced chai (even the kind without actual tea in it) you need to warm the spices in the milk for at least a few minutes, to get the full flavour, especially with dried ground spices. :)

She is dutch, as a dutch person i can say vegetablesoup is normal here🙈. Although normally you add little soupballs(meatballs) and sometimes vermicelli(soupnoodles)...and the normal one is quite blend flavourwise. I don't eat meat ofcourse so no little meatballs but with some vermicelli and more spices it would make a good lunch for me. For diner it isn't enough. The version you eat is an entree not a full meal.

As someone who struggles with chronic effects of tick born illnesses, I appreciate Yolanda. She also has struggled with this and was very open in her book "Believe Me". After reading it my impression of her being a superficial "housewife " was shattered and a gained a lot of respect for her.
