He actually seems like a really nice guy and takes all the jokes and humor about him in stride! I'm only half way through the video, so maybe you mention this: Raw broccoli is loaded with the cancer fighting sulforaphane. I'm so surprised he doesn't eat it raw. I'm with you- I would steam all that veg. This is a great video so far and I'm really happy that I stumbled across your account a few weeks ago. ( Apparently I live under a rock.)
@11235Aodh8 ай бұрын
Letting your broccoli and cauliflower rest for 40 minutes after cutting also preserves the sulforaphane in cooking. Or sprinkle some raw broccoli grains also seem to do the trick boosting the sulfoaphane of the already cooked bits (dunno how this happens, but seems it can). I use the "let rest after cutting" strategy. (same for onions and garlic, but then 10 mins is enough).

If you need/want some recipes to use of the leftover lecithin I can tell you what I bought mine for. It was the Sweet Gratitude; A New World of Raw Desserts recipe book I purchased because I used to love eating at Cafe Gratitude (when I could afford it) way back when I lived in Northern California. Admittedly I didn’t end up making any of the lecithin recipes at least as of yet but I certainly enjoyed them when someone else made them.

Sunflower lecithin is an emulsifyer. I use it to make my homemade oat milk have the same fat content of whole fat cow milk because I basically only use it in my hot tea and without fat content, it's sad and feels almost astringent. I want creaminess! And the fat does that. The lecithin keeps it from separating on acccount of the whole oil and water thing... :) (This diet plan is definitely the Sadness Diet lol)

I add the Sunflower Lecithin to my coffee every morning, it helps the non dairy creamers taste creamier. it decreases cholesterol, better digestion, good for the brain. I also take 4 tablespoons of very high quality high phenolic EVOO everyday, usually i make an olive oil dip with crispy fried garlic, Lebanese Zatar, seseme seeds, salt pepper and dip fresh home made bread from fresh milled wheat berries in it. You may not think about these things now since you're just a cute lil youngun but come another 40 years and you'll probably wish you had.
