I lived in Sydney for 6 months and visited this market a few times. I remember how good the mornay and kilpatrick oysters were. And great salmon and tuna sashimi. Getting a takeaway tray with fresh caught fish and chips and eating it just outside was tops.

Those prices are in Australian dollars. You have to convert to your country's currency to know how it cost. It flunciated differently frequently. As of 1030 EST, it's $1.00USD to $1.60 AUD. So, it might looks expensive, but you won't know until you get to Australia.

I visited Tasmania years ago and saw live king crabs in a seafood place at Dunalley. (Later burnt out by huge bushfires). When I asked the proprietor about them he said they may be over 50 year old and were at least twice the size of the ones shown in this video. Asking price back then (over 15years ago) was $500au/kilogram and some of those crabs would have weighed close to 10 kilograms.

The running water is actually required to keep the stove top from getting too hot and damaging causing damage to the steel. Those wok burners put out a lot of heat, but it’s only way to get that “wok hei”.
