Gram flour has more of it in 50 gram like bro it has 11 grams/100 it is very good source, for protine too , like 22gm/100gm and 58 gm carbs/100 compared to oats 70.7 gm/100 like gram flour is good if you don't want more carbs but protein and fiber

I have tried oats, my father had diabetes, when he switched to oats, his sugar levels came to normal. It helped my bro with hard stool, oat definitely has good Fibre, and healthy energy. We have used it in our household since 10 yrs. Edited I have been using Kelloggs oats, it's instant oat, not the rolled one.

A good video. I would go one step further and say that we should consume only steel cut oats rather than rolled oats. Rolled oats are more processed than steel cut oats, which makes them have a higher glycemic index. We need to eat low glycemic foods so we avoid glucose spikes in our blood after eating.

I'm happy that you called em out..these stupid people are literally driving me crazy like what would've happened to me if I didn't know better.. There are a few points that needs to be said- 1) oats have phytates but even the rolled oats we buy have already been boiled and you yourself are gonna cook it before you eat it. 2) phytates aren't totally bad.. they have anti cancer properties..so you so want them in your diet . 3) oats has high quality complex carbs. 4) beautiful source beta-glucan. 5) needless to say, it helps control blood-sugar . Pair it with nuts and seeds and fruits and it's literally the best. 6)it reduces your risk of getting cardiovascular diseases and colon cancer. 7) avoid masala oats at all cost. Highly processed and has unnecessary ingredients.. choose old fashioned oats. Unflavoured instant oats is fine. 8) buy organic oats- this is one of the few things that i buy organic to reduce my exposure to glyphosate..

IF you must eat oats, don’t eat instant variety. These are absorbed quickly and spike blood sugar levels. Avoiding oats is preferred, especially if you do not want massive insulin spikes.

Yeah, compared to rice, oats have like double the protein. Just like wheat, though it does depend on which variety was grown. There's one I can buy which has an extra 50% protein on top of the usual amount. It's more expensive tho.

You can have it for breakfast, it's not a problem. You cannot eat it all day, just like you cannot eat rice all day. You cannot expect protein from oats as it is not a source of protein. It is a carbohydrate source and it contains fibre content slightly higher than your other carbohydrate source.

There are more beat sources of carbs like millets, which has more fiber and more protien than that of oats, i sont know why oat marketing is done soo high
