The soy milk at Starbucks tastes terrible. Idk why people like it so much. Lol. It made a strawberry frappucino (made with it) taste like cough syrup. It was accidently made with soy by the barista this particular day.

Yeah... I am in NC and you have to go to dine in places to get a vegan burger. Examples are like red Robin, burgerfi, cheesecake factory, tgi fridays. Hardee's dumb self still is not carrying beyond burger. Smh like get it together already.

@@EbikeAdventuresSD Thank you for leaving that comment as cross contamination is an issue for some. I know Del Taco has 'plant based tacos' yes it has no meat or dairy but it may touch meat (prepared in the same area). Also if you have read this long... know that not all 'sugar' is vegan as it may be filtered w/ bone char (charcoal). The sugar contains no animal product, but by definition an animal product was used to make it. Organic sugar is vegan and others... 👀

At taco bell I usually get the power cantina veggie bowl with no cheese, sour cream, or guac- add potatoes!! You can even get vegan wraps at chickfila if ask for a veggie wrap no cheese. They use black beans, corn, lettuce, tomato, & at some locations bell pepper. SO GOOD

If you order the "Big Hamburger" and swap it for a Beyond pattie, it's only $4 plus tax. A much cheaper option than ordering the "Beyond Burger" right off the menu.

Starbucks sprouted bagel with avocado spread takes me back to my undergrad days. I ate that allllll the timeee. Also pro tip for taco bell, a lot of them are getting updated with self-checkout kiosks inside which makes ordering vegetarian and vegan a lot easier! There are so many options for substituting or just in addition and you cut out one level of human error (plus it's great for introverts like myself)

What's weird is I cooked them at home and hated it because of the coconut smell. I love coconut, but the smell of that just put me completely off. At the Carl's JR it was really good. Maybe they changed the formula, but it knocked my socks off. It was truly great.

Yeah, I didn't get that comment either. They can't serve food again after it has gone out especially out of the building. I would die if I were getting food that was reserved.

I really don't know what's best in that situation, but if I were to put some thought into it... it would probably be better to serve that particular item to a dog than it would be to give it back to the store only for them to discard it into a trashcan. It's not your fault, because you ordered something that didn't involve cruelty, but it's better that the item gets some use other than to go to complete waste. There's still the benefit; though, of returning the item, and hopefully the workers learn their lesson and make these errors less often, but I doubt most of these employees last. More employees will just keep cycling in, making the same mistakes.

Chris, you are killing me. I'm recouping from a bug (thank you Super Bowl guac) and what do you get right off da bat? Are Carl's on the East Coast? And then Taco Hell. It isn't difficult to be vegan. Be creative. To be fugal, I usually pack my snacks and/or meals and bring them with me. Veg for 20 years vegan for 6. I have learned the places that will cater to vegans and go there often and treat them well. There's an OOTW burrito shop that i frequent, not because it's the best, it's because they care about the customers.

I'm a vegetarian and do work at a fast-food place sadly where I work don't really offer vegetarian options but you have to know how to work around that. ALSO, I was amazed by Taco Bell its truly one of my favorite places but never really frequent much since becoming vegetarian. I will for sure have to try this sometime though when with friends and see if they are able to get it right. I'm really amazed by this video in general and I love how well the video was put together. Del Taco has pretty good vegan options if they're in your area! My partner and I drove from CA to our new home on the east coast and ate there as much as we could on the road (there are no Del Tacos near us now).

Love your videos ❤️ I want Taco Bell now! I always add potatoes to my meals...my fave is the cantina bowl. No cheese, no sour cream, no avocado ranch. I add the potatoes while I eat it! Just make sure to ask for them with no cheese or sour cream. So delicious and satisfying 😋 I also love the bean burrito with no cheese or sour cream of course...and the 7 layer burrito 🌯 no cheese, no sour cream, and I add potatoes! Cinnamon twists are a must for dessert! Now I want to try the double decker taco 😋 I’m afraid of getting meals with meat though in case they mess it up...so I usually go for the meals that do not come with meat. Maybe I will try next time if I go inside ☺️ I usually order at the drive through. Can’t wait for your next video! The first time, the cashier looked at me like I was speaking gibberish and then forgot to put guac on my crunchwrap, the second time was at a different taco bell and a much better experience. It definitely tastes better with guac and sauce on it, but hey it's a cheap filling meal, good for on the go.

Idk if it’s helpful but ordering whatever “fresca style” is replacing cheese and sour cream with their tomato/ pico and makes ordering easier. Ex: “can I get a taco Fresca style with beans instead of meat”

I always have gotten my Crunchwrap with beans but my favorite one was the spicy double. Now that I’m vegan I get it with beans-no sour cream and cheese add jalapeños. Then I bring it home and put on my own vegan queso and vegan spicy ranch and it’s amazing.
