It is not climate change that is destroying the world. Government and science has been destroying the planet with war. The two have left behind a plague of destruction everywhere they go and anything they touch. People forgot that the 60's and 70's were return to god decades. The protests were anti war anti pollution. Government and science managed to switch everyone to climate change because they were easily controlled using shows, movies and education. Wow. This has really helped me move away from a nihilistic perspective that "it's all fucked, so who gives a shit what you do". This helps me to realize that I can play a part in the solution, rather than the problem and end up on the right side of history. I am fully committed to the vegan life now after never having thought I would do so prior. I watched "Dominion", then "The Game Changers" and now this. I have friends who are super athletes, performing feats that I never thought I would see with my own eyes (flips on highlines hundreds of feet in the air... perfect form handstands and trampoline flips... etc etc...) and they are vegan. I myself am an athlete, so it really helped to see people like them demonstrating such athletic ability whilst being vegan. I think now I know where they get their superpowers from. One day I just had this feeling while I was eating a plump chicken breast that rather than tasting delicious, I could taste the suffering of that sentient being who almost certainly suffered throughout their brief restrained unimaginably painful existence. I think that was a moment of "waking up".. a moment where I got a glimpse beyond the matrix that I've lived in for so much of my life. Thank you to all those other people who have tread upon this path before me and provided a roadmap for me to follow beyond a life of cynical overconsumption. Much love to you all. I look forward to telling others about this film and spreading awareness of this cause that is beyond vital in our current day.

It's because the modern medicine (a.k.a. allopathic medicine) make most people with longer lifespan but with more miserable years e.g. with life-long diabetes, cancers, hypertension, heart diseases, renal failure etc. Human population keep increasing and stacking up because the dying rate has been so much slower back in the days getting medical treatment was treated as luxurious services but 20,000 - 30,000 years ago meat was like exclusively for the filthy rich one and the emperors' families and the kings' families, not everyone afford to buy a piece of meat. Take ancient Chinese as example. Most ancient Chinese folks few thousand years ago only take few bits of the expensive precious meat and fish during the Chinese New Year and important events like the Cheng Beng, the Mid-Autumn/Lantern Festival, the Winter Soltice etc. The rest of the days were like exclusively plant-based unless those super rich business-based families or royal families. Even it is written on one of the most prestigious traditional Chinese medicine book by the ancient TCM practitioner that well-known to the people who believes in TCM community, eggs were once thought as an emergency medicine especially to severe starved patients to quickly nutrition them and bring them back to life from dying starvation. Back in the really older days, even salt, sugar, oil were really scarce and were treated as luxurious items. Few thousand years ago there were no antibiotic resistant, no microplastics, no fast fashion, even fabric was treated as luxurious items as well. Now? Basically people eat eggs everyday, one person average eating the amount of meat like 300 times more the size of meat and milk than the ancient Chinese folks LOL Seriously no problem with factory animal agricultural farming????

Yup...unless someone conquers the entire world and impose change at a global lvl. We need The Venus Project globaly. Money is the real culprit. Every bad thing happening in our world is for money. The biggest and only change we need to do is abolish money and make everything free. We have the resources for that. Make this change and all our current problems will go away. If we want other results in our world then we have today, we need to change the way things work. And the base driver of that is money and the effect it has on our world(natural resources, biodiversity and human behavior)

Excellent documentary covering many issues. It would be great, however, to see more emphasis on the actual beings that are put through this abhorrent treatment in their billions. A very educative piece... Indeed, we have been most bothered about the wrong elements of climate change, when the elephant in the room was animal agriculture. I really want to move over to a vegetarian diet, but it is quite difficult to do this in Nigeria where I was born and still reside. The overwhelming majority of our dishes often incorporate meat, fish, eggs or dairy products. Hopefully, my dream of becoming a vegetarian would be fulfilled when I emigrate to Canada.
@tammyd.9702 жыл бұрын
It's a great goal, Ehis! A good approach, though, is to not see it as all or nothing. You don't need to move to Canada to make some big changes! You can start by reducing the amount of animal products you eat, and learn to cook dishes that do not include them. Try to find other like-minded people to talk to or eat with. Look on 'Happy Cow' or other resources to find vegetarian restaurants and shops, or add them when you find them! It is not always easy to be a vegetarian, especially a strict one (vegan) in many places in the world. If you start talking about it and looking around, though, you might find other people to support you and businesses and collectives you can support. The saying, "Be the change you want to see in the world" completely applies to vegetarianism. It may take time, but making certain choices and exposing other people to a different way of thinking can cause them to start questioning things, and maybe even making those big changes themselves. We touch many lives, and each interaction is an opportunity to change our reality. Best of luck with your transition!!

In fact, some people over react and take it as insulting even saying we are vegetarian or vegan not for religious reasons. Making people into 2 sides, or any offensive is not gonna to get things through. Have good recipes, let them try, and ask them to have little bit more replacing meat, little by little, if they can't sometimes, its ok. Then they would change after time. It's good to see such a well-produced documentary concerned about our beautiful environment and the awful things too many of us are doing to it. There are so many people who are blithely ignorant and probably won't click to find this movie. When they get sick and go to the doctor (like the guy in this movie), they will find out. I have spent much of my life being frugal and saving to cover the cost of a home and patch of land in a mid-sized metropolis. I have no debt and I buy hardly any red meat. I get fruit, veges, nuts and eggs from my garden. Meat comes to me as rescued food and apart from that I buy meat sometimes from an organic butcher and supermarket. I am child-free and spend some of my spare time nurturing those around me... or I try. I love children, but I give my time over to advocating Family Planning. Overpopulation and over-consumption are both big issues and veganism is a form a degrowth that will help us all.

Most humans are still eating meat, because they never see this terrible connection between agro-business and their plate. They still eat meat, because they have been brainwashed into believing that only with meat, they can get proteins. They do not understand that we make proteins from plants, not by eating animals. They still eat dead animals, also known as carrion or cadavers, because they were convinced that this is a sign of wealth and progress. They want to prove to themselves that they "made it". They can afford meat every day. They will kill themselves and all of Earth because of these false assumptions! I have been a vegan 100 % of my life, 71 years by now. I inspired some of my nieces to also follow me. I am the healthiest person alive: never had a doctor, never been sick! We must set an example by not eating the meat, not buying the meat. No sales, no profit, no animal industry! It really is that short and simple.

It is absolutely sickening what mankind is doing to this once beautiful, life sustaining earth.

It's sickening what man is doing to the animals. If you watched this, you should also watch another documentary called Dominion. I was traumatized by it. Had me crying in the first 5 minutes.

I am passionate about eating vegan...I try to show others by example of eating this way but many do not want to hear what I have to say...It is very frustrating to watch those that I I love get sick and feel like crap when all they have to do is cut out animal products....to put an end to the animals that suffer...and help our beautiful planet Earth recover... When you eat this way you see life differently ...feeling love and gratitude as your senses become clearer..It is a beautiful way to live and contribute to not only ones own health but the world we share with other sentient beings

Ditto Lisa,the only thing that helps me is trying to understand that they need to come to the conclusion themselves and see it in their own time.

Equinimity. Sometimes we just need to breath and let people do what they do and watch. Maybe someday they will listen to you.

Vegan for 4 years, previously vegetarian for 5 years…for my health, for the animals and for the earth. I cried throughout this movie. I love the earth! It’s our only home. ♥️🌎♥️

Each topic into this documentary has its own deep branch, one of the best. I like the not so aggressive approach because humans tend to kick when you are aggressive although it should be because those are very serious matters. I hope this video it would be accessible to everyone but the media will always have a different agenda than seeing the truth that we must be in balance with nature. A common world wide awareness should be reached. Hello from Greece. Green is the best we must not let it disappear.

Thank you so very much, my Greek friend! I am on my way to Peloponnese, where I just bought a beautiful house and olive tree orchard. I shall come to live there, in Greek paradise. We will make sure it stays that way! You are so blessed in Greece!
