Wow! I was impressed with her testimony. She was very calm. This was her first home. She had only one payment left before being paid off. No one wants to start over and dealing with insurance claims. I’d advise all these people to start filing claims ASAP. Home insurance has loss of use coverage. They’ll pay for your hotel bills and even put you in a rental house. There’s either a dollar amount limit or a 12 or 24 month limit. Plus they’re going to have to start getting paid for personal property. The insurance company will make them itemize every last thing that was in that house. What a nightmare.
