The cakes are for feeding the giant pig... When collected, they can be fed to the King Pig in Dessert Mode. Different types of cakes will not affect the chance to get something useful, except for Golden Cupcakes. If all cakes in a level have been collected, then leaving the level and going back will respawn them. All cakes must be picked up for this to work.

I hope you read this Speezy (1st-time I comment this) : - So i noticed that you don't know that sodas rockets and boosts (that propel your machine) can ACTUALLY connect two boxes on your vehicle like a tnt boxing glove or another box. Also it gives a solid boost thus resulting in a more straight trajectory. - You also should put boosts on the bottom of the car too because a boost only on the top will result the car flipping forward and breaking it occasionally. You should make your machine as symmetrycal as possible (vertically and horizontaly). - The pig (Ross, yes that is his actuall name) is usually heavier than most objects (like the candy pumpkin, egg, and engines) so you should opt. to put him in the middle of the car thus resulting in more straight falling and jumping trajectory. - The cakes you get can be used on King pig (Smooth Cheeks yes thats his actuall name :/) to get screws (parts) exp coins and boosts. The golden cupcacek gives a 100% chance on getting a tresure. A guy @benjackson6260 poined this ou first. This is what he said: "The cakes are for feeding the giant pig... When collected, they can be fed to the King Pig in Dessert Mode. Different types of cakes will not affect the chance to get something useful, except for Golden Cupcakes. Some levels rely a bit on luck, which is unfortunate but the way the game is built ensures that doing the same thing will lead to different results. Also, in terms of the ‘worst-designed level’ you’re yet to encounter it. These levels require far more thinking outside the box than the previous ones, including creating multiple different cars for different levels and smaller sub vehicles. Good job on the first set though!

This series inspired me to try to 100% the game and 6-18 is the only one I had to use both a KZbin guide and the pre-built vehicle power up. Even then the vehicle designs took multiple attempts to do what they were designed to. It seemingly doesn’t function as intended, which is why I call it the worst designed level. Even months after completing it, I still HATE that level.

Cakes are given so you can give them to the king pig as a little mini game. You just feed cakes to him and he keeps getting bigger until he burps and shrinks. The more cakes you get in the game, the more cakes you can feed to the king pig. You can access this level when clicking the kings crown icon

I completed this game when it came out originally. It had a free roam mode where you could use the parts you unlocked in a larger enclosed map. This game really has changed with more stuff added huh. There was no golden items and the sandbox was limited.
