Eh not really. I was a huge fan of BitLife, to get anything out of it you have to pay for I think a subscription (It's been awhile since I downloaded it so don't quote me if it's a subscription) to get anything good out of it. Most of the pet stuff and customization's are locked behind pay walls. It used to be a free game but they got money hungry like most mobile apps I heard it's better on tablets than it is on phones but it's not worth playing anymore. If you really like it I suggest to just watch people playing it, but I won't stop you from installing just don't spend any money on it I would hate for people to keep supporting the money hungry stingy app developers especially if they put ads in the game and still ask for money.
