I have a question about the wait times for people born in China/India but has acquired another citizenship (f.eg: Australia/UK/Canada etc), and living in country of their current citizenship. Dear Oscar, I just downloaded your EB2 NIW application and I am using it as a reference to fill out the I-140 form. I noticed that in part 6 of your form, you did not fill out any field, however, the USCI instructions establish that we have to include at least points 1,2, and 3 to help the USCIS officer understand the Endeavor. My question is when you applied for an EB2 NIW visa the instruction to fill at least points 1,2, and 3 of part 6 was in place or mentioned in the Petition Filing and Processing Procedures for Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers? I am asking this because I filled out these points and my application was not accepted due to the USCIS officer said part 6 was incomplete.

please fill out that part and return to them. When I submitted it, I left it blank and it was ok. It seems they changed their criteria now

Totally agree that with lawyers we do most of the work. Of course they may help to guide, but often this does not even happen. And indeed, preparing a self petition should deserve a Master's degree by itself!

You are supposed to do what you said you would do. The EB2 NIW is a permanent residency

Generally you do want to show current certifications or as recent as possible. Doesn't mean you cannot show them otherwise, but they will become less relevant

So I am confused. Abhi had advanced degree [Msc] but not 10 years progressive experience. However, in USCIS website, they have mentioned a Bachelor's and 5 years progressive experience as requirement if someone doesnt have a Master's. Am I right?

A master or PhD doesn't require to prove years of experience , unlike a bachelor degree
