Great! I always have scraps of paper and use a similar system but place the paper inside the bag. I have small plastic bins for my smalls/jewelry so they are easy to find without a great deal of weight. And, of course, the custom label includes this information. Thank you!

The way you store your jewelry items is similar to the way I do it. Except that I have a continuous numbering system. Each jewelry piece gets its number and individual baggy which goes into a larger bag that is labeled with all the numbers that are inside it. ie #101 to 120. etc. It's super easy to keep track of. Also, since I have a bad habit of transposing numbers, the last photo of my listing is of my sku number. Works great!

Great ideas for the information in the custom sku. I usually only put extra information on Poshmark because they have a notes space. I have been including the packing slip in the shipment, but I suppose it really isn’t necessary. I may rethink that practice. I saw you replied to another poster about variation listings for vintage brooches. That sounds like a good idea. Obviously, I just learned about those from your recent video and wondered if there was anything I already have that I could try out the technique. Maybe I will give it a whirl.

Vickie, your organization skills are outstanding! And...I must say your handmade jewelry is beautiful! You are multi-talented for sure! Just what you need...another channel! I don't know how you do it all really, run a business, make jewelry and jewelry videos, cook and make cooking videos. I'm lucky to photograph and list 10 items a day and of course, pack and ship and whatever else is necessary to run my store. Just curious, do you sell a lot of your handmade jewelry? I've not had the best luck with jewelry, although I don't have a lot (my niche is breakables, pottery, art glass, fine China). I find the market on eBay is oversaturated.

Thank you so much! I don’t know if you know, but Mark and I handcrafted jewelry and traveled to sell it for 10+ years. I didn’t start the KZbin channel until a month or so ago for Avante Jewelry and I’ve had a few sales so far. Overall, selling costume and fashion jewelry on eBay is a slow sale. But I still have made sales and have more to list. With vintage brooches, I tend to do variation listings. You mentioned my cooking channel, Thrifty Recipes. I’m way way behind on posting videos there. Mainly because Mark and I have changed our way of eating and I’m not sure what direction to go with the channel. I do love my air fryer! How do I do it all? I’m not one to stay idle for very long. I love having projects to do. It only feels like work when I get a little tired sometimes (I work too late into the evening) but for the most part it’s fun! Back to the selling jewelry on ebay, it really helps to sell brand names when it comes to costume and fashion jewelry. My handmade jewelry is too new to say how well that it’s going to do. I do think the KZbin channel is helping and I appreciate subscriber purchases both from Avante Avenue and Avante Jewelry. Hope that helps and thanks for asking!
