Congrats on the first start! I remember my first start like it was yesterday. It would start and die after a couple seconds and no amount of fuel was keeping it running. I couldn't figure it out, then I realized I didn't remove the cap to the turbo inlet.. Turns out you need oxygen to run your car lol. Also, thanks for showing all the new software. I didn't realize it was so much easier now. Maybe I'll finally finish my build lol

If your going to run forced induction in rom raider close up the valve overlap on vanos will help with power for turbo.

In europe, drifters, who still enjoy 3.0 n/a (I mean one dude even won semi-pro drift league with N/a again all V's and shit) he said he used some sort of map, which simplifies ecu for fixing simplicity purposes. It really has no O2 sensors and Maf. Only map. So it's I believe close loop type of map, which according to him was like going from M54b25 to b30 times two. Btw why maf on turbo doe?

Maf seems like the easiest to configure when boosting the m54, and it works. I also have my own personal preference on map vs maf

Great video. When using romraider and using the ms4x wiki's definition files it still pops up no definition files found when reading both bins. Definition is in the manager added and saved but idk what im missing. Thanks for anyone that can help.

Yea, that's the plan. It's already tough as is with the a/c compressor. Low mount on rhd is a completely different pain in the ass

The entire hot side (wastegate relocation, intercooler piping, and intake). Tuning as well, but only because I want to try and learn how to do it.

When you did your Maf hack did you have to do anyhthing else besides the switch? Rom raider shows everything is there but loading tuner pro shows nothing changed for same bin. Thanks

I just did the switch using the patchlist definition file. You can adjust the X axis scaling (Load) if you want. I didn't at first.

Blew the motor, but that was my fault. Built right, tuned right, these can handle 3-400hp no problem

What do you do if you get state repped? I’m sure u have a way around smog but what about cops...I live in Cali as well and this is a big concern of mine because I want a street turbo setup on my 330.

Sometimes you have to risk it for the biscuit. As long as you don’t drive like a dick you should be fine (The only times I’ve gotten pulled over weren’t regarding car mod stuff). If you do get pulled over, honestly usually goes a long way *Not legal advice, YMMV*
