@@toddsmithmusic3172 well, it's something I feel should be pulled out me. And I put it down here. You take it or not, I don't care. Anyway the lead part sounds odd to me. It's not dark but hm I'd say funeral. It's not about timbre, because timbre is actually dark. It's about melody as I can hear it. And in case of entertainment is a priority here on Ytube, I believe such lead behavior not add to the presumed goal. Goal of listenability, views, likes, subs, you know. @@user-cy3do4xc2cMy “goal” is to create. I’m not conforming my music for you tubes algorithm or views. The “odd” lead you call not dark but dark at the same is a different pace from the rest of the album, I feel the lead and backing track fit well to create something nostalgic but unique. I could care less if it gets 10 views if one person enjoys it. It’s going on 1,000 views in a few days and many positive reactions, which feels pretty healthy. In the end nothing os for everyone I guess. I tend to make music for me and if it relates to you, that’s awesome

I can respect people who don’t like it at all or maybe people like you that might “misunderstand” they idea/media. In the end you can’t please everyone. The best thing to do is work on what feels right to you and build on concepts that works with you and your natural audience.
