Love my Ownboard Carbon AT! My only regret is not paying the extra $100 for both wheels. The AT is great to practice on grass, because grass is much more forgiving then asphalt. FYI if you go with one set of wheel with your board instead of both, you will have to pay $150 vs $100 if order with the board. Get both wheels!!!

I learned to ride on it.. it's a dream. Stiff kinda sucks for bumps.. and the double kingpin trucks make high speed squirrelly.. so I rarely go max speed
@michael1024 жыл бұрын
@@KamalaChameleon have you tried changing the bushing to evolve or riptide bushing? Also, if you can find a barrel bushing with an insert, it will greatly reduce wobble... kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIixZn6wetB2oZo

@@Julian-bv8ql the only issue with the board is that its prone to speed wobbles with the all terrain wheels which I imagine get be fixed with different bushings and tighter trucks

@@Julian-bv8ql There's one good review for Ownboard above by Randy and another from me. I own this board, it's fantastic and I ride it every day without issues. I can't speak for how they were a year ago when you wrote your comment though.

does the cloud wheels work with Ownboard W2 model?
@SeamlessMedia4 жыл бұрын
I received my AT/GT combo with the new 7" pneumatic wheels today. There were 2 major problems. First, since the 7" wheel has no drive gear bearing (the pulley is mounted directly to the wheel via screws), there were no drive gear pulley bearing washers included. So when I went to switch to the Cloud Wheels, the missing washer makes the gear grind into the motor mount. There should have been a set of 2 washers included for the Cloud Wheel pulley setup. Also the 7" use a different motor cover to make room for the belt and the large pulley. This cover is not enclosed protecting the motor gear like the one in this video, so when changing to the cloud wheels the motor gear is exposed. Basically the board came set up properly for the new 7" setup, but is missing the critical parts that allow the cloud wheels to be used safely. Hope this helps.

I agree. This is the problem I have found.

@@jday4217 Ownboard did send me out the missing washer and motor covers for the Cloud Wheels. In the mean time I found a good usable alternative to the 10mm speedring at Menards, it's a 10mm Small Outer Diameter washer: Model Number: 88417 SKU: 2012080 (3 pack, you will use 2) Also, I found motor mount washers that slide properly: 4mm Small Outer Diameter washer: Model Number: 88413 SKU: 2012076 (5 pack, you will use 8, get 2 packs) Extra motor mount screws: "4mm-0.70 x 12mm Zinc Hex Drive Coarse Thread Socket Cap Screw" Model Number: 81662 SKU: 2019989 Extra belt cover screws: "4mm-0.70 x 10mm Plain Hex Drive Coarse Thread Socket Cap Screw" Model Number: 81661 SKU: 2019976 Hope this helps!

Hello! Will this bamboo AT OK due to the thing that I close to the weight limit? Willn't it be too flexible for me? Thank you! Nice boards!
@ownboardskateboard73414 жыл бұрын
Hey, dear, your weight is not the problem to affect your ride, if that is too flexible for you, you can choose carbon AT, that one is more durable and more stiff

@@ownboardskateboard7341 Is the bamboo version also water resistant? I won't be reading during rain but might on wet pavements, avoiding puddles. Can you recommend a good sealant to add around the battery box?

@@OhFishyFish yes, the bamboo AT version does have a really good water-resistant, even you ride in the rain would be fine, Daniel Kwan does have a video review of this board, maybe you can have a look.

In my opinion you should be able to ride them, more preferably the carbon version, just the top speed and range may be lower than usual because of your weight.

I replied to your other comment with the part number, but here it is again so others can find it easily: Menards 4mm Small Outer Diameter washer: Model Number: 88413 SKU: 2012076 (5 pack, you will use 8, get 2 packs) These have an ever so slightly smaller outer diameter than the ones that came installed on the board, and glide freely through the motor mount channel. A quick alternative would be to sand down the outside edge of the existing washers a bit.
