Thank you so much for these video’s. Although I am in no way a student anymore, I came across your channel when researching filter design for my bass guitar active tone control circuit. Big thumbs up. I hope to watch all of your videos in the future. Well done. 👍🏻

Should we take Bandwidth as wc2 - wc1 or wc1 + wc2?
@RoseHulmanOnline4 жыл бұрын
It is typically the difference between the two but for a broad band approximation you can just use the sum.

Thanks For me very easy😊

You may have your filters reversed. It should be HP and LP equals bandpass.

why does K=Gain for LPF and HPF but K=10^(Gain/20) for BPF?
@eecakir7 жыл бұрын
it assumes unity gain to simply stuff. K for LPF and HPF is 1

Why is it that my university did it different?
@RoseHulmanOnline5 жыл бұрын
there are many ways to design active and passive filters, you just have to make sure the circuit implements the transfer function that you want with the correct gain, bandwidth, resonant and cut off frequencies.

@@RoseHulmanOnlineOr , perhaps, Convention. It seems that the convention which I was taught is based around KCL and KVL and Circuit Analysis. That's what we used when it came to designing our pressure sensor, as well as the Comparator Circuit, even our Heart Beat Sensor. But thank you for your time, and I will definitely keep that in mind, that there are many different ways to design. With kind and very thankful regards, Gabe.
