Be careful who you side with, the enemy lies and is full of deceit. The guy who made this video is showing short edits of a whole sermon. He then says that the preacher is saying that "they will not enter heaven unless they give her their money". This is such a lie and was never mentioned at all, not even in the full sermon I looked up. That message was not even about giving money but our heart attitude. No wonder non Christians and atheists mock the church for being devisive. Be careful about trashing other churches and his children like people on this page have... we will all have God to answer to.

Calvinism is just as bad as the prosperity gospel, as it teaches works salvation and that Jesus did not die for all people (this is the false doctrine of 'limited atonement'). When I came to Christ, I was at the lowest point in my life, broken broke and confused to name a few. The church I got saved in, would preach similar things like, “You won’t experience the full blessing of God, if you don’t give tithes and offerings”. And I went with it not knowing better, even though I hardly had any money left after paying my debts every month, I still managed to just about pay a tenth of what I earned. Anyway, long story short, I still give at least a tenth of my income to charities and some of that does go the church I attend, and I can testify, that since I have made this a practice in my life, I no longer trust money as much, and I never lack anything, I mean never. I live with an open hand to God, and he likewise has an open hand to me. I don’t understand it, It could be that God would bless me even if I didn’t have an open hand, I don’t know, it is purely my observation, but one thing is certain, since being a giver, I hold money very loosely and that is directly connected, to letting it go when I consider less fortunate people than me, and that is a kind of freedom money can’t buy.

It's difficult to verify your story but even still your experience does not override God's Word. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. The Bible says that the Old Covenant has passed away. Every individual believer is the Temple of the Holy Spirit and we are all priests of God. We don't have to pay for buildings and we don't need to give 10% to anyone.

@@iThinkBiblically My story had not a thing to do with salvation, what I am trying to say is, the church I went to might have been wrong in saying that God can only fully bless you if you give tithes and offerings. But in the end I was blessed, in that my grip on money was loosened as a learned to let go of the thing I was trusting in. I don't think you are giving proper considerations, as to the bigger implications on the act of letting go regardless of the who the recipient is. Give to the one who begs from you Matt 5:42, even when they are being crafty about it.

Hmm have you watched the full sermon? It’s hard when we are only seeing shorts from a full sermon. I have sat and listened to Ps Noleen speak many times and she is an amazing teacher. I haven’t heard her reference anything about giving or you go to hell. However she has spoken about our heart posture toward giving. I think it’s easy to make an assumption when you are listening to shorts and putting them together like this. I haven’t seen this sermon but I will make a point to watch it in full. God Bless ❤

Teaching a gospel of works is so devastating to people especially new converts because it embeds in them that no matter what they're never going to be good enough and if they are having a bad day people telling them they aren't pleasing God. I've had to go back through the gospel over and over again to get it deep down in my spirit that the ONLY thing that makes me righteous before God is my faith in Christ. Faith=Salvation and good deeds are simply just the fruit of that but good deeds NEVER equals Salvation. Thank you for this video brother. I pray that the church will STOP condemning people and pressuring them to do this and do that just so God will accept them. Paul states in Ephesians For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.

I remember years ago a young church leader (who was given far too much clout for her age and character) was talking about another believer's choice to leave a certain ministry. They said, "She's chasing a better life. She reminds me of the rich young ruler, putting money ahead of God". This was so ridiculous...the reason the believer left was she was getting paid next to nothing to be there, and she wanted to go to uni and get a degree. Perfectly reasonable and totally free to do so. Such poor application of Bible in a religious, judgmental mindset. This is why no one should teach unless they're trained properly to teach Scripture. Her tone of voice is killing my ears.

Ive been to check out this church a few times for myself and found no fault but the hard truth being spoken which other churches shy away from. Jesus was criticized for the same. Re your comment on her house, car, etc... I know someone who knows them well so i'll tell you. These leaders are married and all live together in a humble little unit in a not so nice area of Sydney. They only share an average car and have less assets and wardrobe than the average person, so be careful who you judge.

1 corinthians, paul mentions that we take care of those who teach us the gospel. today the state takes our taxes to pay our pastors, so giving to the church is to help the church in helping others, as a resource center almost. but as individuals can help others that God puts on our hearts, "That man needs new snow tires, that lady cant afford her rent." Ask God and He'll be your guide, not our own. "Give the church perishables, like meat to give out to families in need." That one works, but money that we can spend on anything, the spirit of greed is more common then we may realize.

Thanks for the comment. I would say that the finanicial needs of churches are man made and unnecessary. If they stick to the biblical pattern then nine of these costs would exist. The early church met in houses even after 3000 were saved on the day of Pentacost.
