My good friend that I've known since school, died a few days ago, I asked him to send me a sign, when driving with the radio on. This song came on and I knew. We loved these from school in the 80s and this song means so much more than ever to me now. Echo and the bunny men always had a strong nostalgia for me, I'm booking to see them now In March. Brilliant. I'd forgot how ace they are and how much I loved them ❤

Wasn't your friend. Everyone does this. Thinks the whole world works around them and strange invisible forces control everything. You could have taken 10 things as a sign as you were looking for that. Of course the love we have and the bonds in life make us think that/

My dad would have been 61 tomoz. This song was not his favourite or any special meenjng to him but it reminds me of a day that sticks in my memory., we were on our way fishing, nothing special, nothing amazing but it sticks in my mind and always pops up in mg head more than any other memory does of us being together. I dont do emotional posts on any kind of social network or in any part of my life. I've bottled so much and never properly grieved his death, on here nobody knows who I am. And this feels like a little bit of a release. Here's to the greatest, strongest and kindest blokes I've ever known. Love you always dad. I'm 68 now and I have a 33 year old son who is into alternative rock. He has introduced me to some great bands of his generation...Radiohead, Travis, James, The Cranberries etc. and more recently bands like War on Drugs, Cage the Elephant and Arcade Fire, just to name a few. My son knows all the bands that I loved like this great band and he loves them all. There is great music and crap music from all eras, you just have to look for the great kind. It helped that I have a son who enjoys my music as well as his. Broaden your horizons and you'd be surprised at how some of today's music is very good, even great.

Months later she turned up at my door, stupidly I tried for a third time and it survived, 3 kids married and still together.
