I think this was Echo’s first WF race on FFXIV. Back on DSR and TOP, they played the raids very casually. Now they went locked in and managed to be in top 10. Such a great run.

They were the first to reach enrage but their actual clear was a few hours after the first

@ iirc they were the first to see Phase 5 enrage, but didn’t realize you got an extra lb bar at the time. Their best pull they were 5% away from a clear. But by that point they had been going for a good portion of the day and you could tell they were tired, cuz they kept wiping to earlier phases they usually cleared easy so they went to bed. I think they ended up 4th overall?

@@DrBuck09 I went to sleep after Kindred and Lucrezia cleared so idk the exact timing but yeah, those 2 clears happened while they were taking a break. The part of the race where both lucrezia and echo were doing back to back pulls after seeing enrage and being mere seconds apart was the most hype moment of the race

Two major differences compared to WoW that I've seen, there are so many more good teams competing at the same level, and also there's no fan tribalism, all teams are supported regardless of where they come from.

Im sad you guys didnt get the world first this time as echo would have been amazing but you guys where so close if not for fatigue one more pull and you guys would have gotten first. Im glad this merged happen been following echo since they started in ff14 and ive enjoyed their adventure here and now that this merged happened we can hopefully have a more closer relationship with other games and esports would love to see more people come in to final fantasy and take its savage and ultimate fight seriously so that the dev team can truly shine making unique fights that other games havent seen and also who doesnt love someone out of their element trying to figure it out either for guidance or nostalgia. Would love to see ff14 raid teams try other games end game content and their opinions on what those raids could bring to final fantasy without changing what makes ff14, ff14

the jp team. it doesn't matter if they used a plugin. literally every single ultimate raider uses ACT. and by SE's own rules, act is cheating. so it doesnt matter if they used pixel perfect or act; as long as you're using ANY third party tool to play, you're cheating and your world first doesn't count in SE's eyes.

Eden’s promise from E12 shows up when failing phase 4 with Crystal broken. But the original Eden model does not, no. Best we get mechanics-wise are the Eden Prime lasers from Gaia’s mechanics. Anyhow though Eden is really Mitron in the story and he’s ever present in the encounter.
