Go from Extreme-Savage-Then ult, and there’s even subcategories you can follow Last expac EXs(Zermous and Golbez are the two best examples imo) Last expac Savages (P5,P8, and P12 though I personally don’t like P12) EX3 (A great trial) Current Savage (A great starting point, even if you skip the other parts) Older Ults (UWU is the best, going into UCOB, and then TEA) Then either FRU, or DSR, or even TOP. Of course you can skip any of the steps and jump into any starting point, there’s plenty of people who started with TOP and had success. There’s plenty of resources out there to help too, and Id even be willing to extend a hand if asked.

If you can afford the time commitment, it's definitely worth trying to get a static instead of wasting your time with Party Finder.

@@jineiyinsha Its less the time commitment and more finding friends to play that wanna do high end content. i cant get many of my friends even into the game let alone try even an extreme

@reimoon991 While I can see why you would want to play with friends and I wouldn't necessarily discourage it, it's important to keep in mind that harder content has the potential to ruin friendships. Suddenly you're in an environment that expects you to handle much harder mechanics and the increased stress that comes with it. With harder content also comes the sheer necessity to improve your rotation and awareness, e.g bettering yourself as a player. Your friends might not have the same expectations or improve at a similar pace as you, and it could cause tension. It's not worth it unless you're 100% sure no one will take offense and quit over this. There are dedicated discord servers where you can start looking for a static of strangers. I recommend looking for people whose experience and goals match yours. Don't let the lack of friends stop you from trying something new in this game. You can absolutely find great players to party with.

Congrats! I know you played ast but any thoughts on sch vs sge on this fight? Since your group is one of the few that actually ran sge over sch I'm wondering what led to that pick

Our shield healer had Covid and he swapped to Sage so he had to think less whilst learning mechanics; we both think SCH is a bit stronger in general in this fight, but that due to FRUs leniency on mitigation SGE never felt weak

@@RinBanana Oh damn, insane to play such long prog hours while having Covid. Hopefully they are feeling better now! At least for me sge feels like a very solid choice especially in the first 2 phases maybe over sch but nothing really beats having expedient especially during prog. Just been wondering which one to bring for prog and almost every group brought sch so wanted some perspective on sge too, so thanks for the reply!

This ain’t the epic story line/ unprecedented experience of DSR, nor is it the soul crushing time of TOP. We got a much more “normal” ultimate, in sense that rather than trying to outdue DSR and TOP, it’s what the devs said TOP was gonna be: a much more chill ultimate while still doing the modern ultimate things.
