Thats a gnarly sprawling white oak bud. Great job working it up! A storm brought down a 44" white oak on my property a few weeks back. I got that one worked up, It was quite a bit of work. Lots of sprawling limbs too. They were in a big tensioned pile lol. I just got a lanyard from Damien, got the northern lights color. Its a great lanyard very well built. That 2511 is cute but that 200 is hard to beat. Thanks for sharing and taking us along bud. Its much appreciated.

Well it looks like that little saw eats good... didn't seem to bog down in the cuts. I first thought the elevation difference is probably the culprit but I just looked on Foreflight and you're only about 400' higher than here or Michigan so that must not be it. I'll bet with a little time you'll have it running good. If not I think you've got my cell# and I'd like to try one 😁 Thank you for the video (it's really great just ta see ya !!! Yes, depending where the saw was tuned - you loose about 3% motor strength per 1000 feet…I work in Colorado and often have to adjust saws between jobs going between 5000 and 10000 feet…

I definitely wouldn’t want that growing against my house, but after watching all the nice firs die on my fathers property while it’s surrounded by oaks, and all the redwoods he planted get stunted around them, im a little biased

Do your research. Make sure it’s a good quality tree service! Make sure you stay a while so they will actually teach you. Stay positive and be a sponge. Absorb everything. Plan on spending some money for good gear. Go home at night and study knots, rigging techniques and tree species. It will all pay off. Above all practice safe work techniques!💪 stay safe and good luck.
