He's helping me a lot to control my anxiety. That's why I get up earlier every day and take my time paying attention to the things I do before I go to work. Getting up, feeding my pets, taking a shower, getting dressed with the clothes I have already chosen to wear the night before. Enjoying my cup of coffee, and doing all this without thinking about work. Then, with plenty of time, I get in my truck and enjoy the driving to work. I really do not think about how I think my day is going to be when I'm at work. I don't care about it. I leave that until I'm already there and just taking things as they come. This eliminates my anxiety completely. I can see most people on the road driving faster, rushing and I see myself the way I was before. Taking for granted everything that the present moment is giving you.

Same. The path was easier than I could’ve realized. A work in progress yes, the fact that fear has left me, not in the form of bravery, within. Freeing me from pain bodies I had no idea existed within me, causing pain, suffering and illness. Don’t think I’d still be here if I didn’t find this message from Eckart. Was lucky enough to be with him in NY State for a week in the mountains of NY in one of his events, only 200 tickets were available, how my wife and I scored them is still a mystery. I'd like to share something. I know there is not one solution for all but perhaps it works for others as well. After decades of severe anxiety and doubt. Watching my life happen in a dark matrix of my own making. One day I just said a few words. One sentence, I don't know where it came from, nor do I need to know. Words I say everytime I start to think or feel in a negative way. Instantly I literally feel positivity flowing through me. I have to use the words less and less. It's simply. Today, over two months on, I can see light at the end of the tunnel, I no longer need or want the anti depressants and am being, being more concerned with right now, The only thing I have planned, besides work, is a climb up Mnt Snowdon on Aug 20th. Thank you, Eckhart, for helping me understand the formula for success in life, which is to give 80% of our attention to the present moment and only 20% to the future goal. It's true that we often overlook and live unhappily 80% of our lives because we're too focused on what's ahead. Focusing solely on the destination can lead to burnout, dissatisfaction, and a lack of fulfillment. On the other hand, if we only care about the journey and neglect our goals, we may never reach our full potential or achieve the success we desire.

From 9min. in this video on life and living in the moment of LIFE. My book had a sentence: use your brain, listen o your heart, and live with mission. Referring to that, The Dalai Lama gave me a foreword for that book (Results from the Heart), while also pointing that we need to connect to heart while we use our brain. That is precisely the point Tolle talk after 9 min into the video which is alignment of our existence/ life with LIFE. Since we get too occupied in what goes in our mind, such act of connection between brain and heart - or life and LIFE poses a challenge for most of us... At the end, it is execution for each to find a way...

This particular idea always makes me smile. Years ago I had to give a talk in front of many, many people on a stage….fretted for days and nights. The day came-the moment arrived- the spotlight went on and I was struck dumb-literally. Could NOT say a word and hard to leave the stage on jelly legs ina cloud of humiliation… and could not actually speak the whole rest of the day! Soooooo - I have never repeated the invitation to ever do this again and it is my tiger in the room. No i amount of taking little steps had helped me. Hey Ho! I guess I wasn’t designed by the universe to be ‘good’ at or to ‘accept’ this chore. That’s OK. Others do it better and that’s Ok too. 🙏🏻

This quote by Michel de Montaigne is helpful when my mind starts getting too far out ahead of me: “He who fears he shall suffer, already suffers what he fears” Take a moment, just breathe and be.
