When Eckhart explained the real meaning of gratitude, it reminded me of what some Christian friends told me about the term, "fear of God." It doesnt mean to be afraid of God, but rather to observe God's creation and have a sense of awe and wonder for it, like we all did when we were children.

I don't get that at all, personally I think that's just rehashing of a nasty Christian message of fear in order to gain control over peoples emotions and dressing it up as misunderstanding that was really well meaning. You are the light of the world. That's the last thing he said in this video. You don't hear that too often. I love it. I've read most of his books but I'm finding that these videos give me a much better way to put awareness into my life. He showed me with the flower, the glass of water, the room. Three examples of how to be present with tips to not stay in a thought, let the thought go. Then asks if I'm aware of the awareness in me. Then I started to try and sense this as I'm watching the video as he asks it. I need to practice sensing this awareness instead of all the other things I've been practicing. Why have I not been watching these videos all along? No idea. My ego probably doesn't approve. lol.

Guys, Eckhart has explained it as beautifully as possible within the limitations of the language..The key is not to argue and get lost in the superficial words like religion etc but just be aware of your thoughts, don't latch on to your thoughts, be aware of the space between thoughts, feel and experience the deep I or the presence within. Its an experience beyond language and thats why you guys are getting confused. I meditated for half an hour and experienced it myself. He is not saying anything new but rather presnting you the timeless wisdom in a way that it becomes easy for you to understand. He is truly a great sage of our times.❤

YESSS it is all of us. We are the universe. Our connection to eachother and the earth are all connected and inside of us no matter what. The human conditioning blocks it most times and you have to undo this conditioning, disconnecting you spirit from your mind in order to be in flow, in harmony with the universe. Where there is no resistance only acceptance and life becimes easy and abundant and beautiful. It is the minds nature to reject, live in survival mode, and lack. And as humans alot of times we falsely identify with the mind instead of the spirit. When in actuality the mind is completely separate. It is only used to actualize your light in the 3d so it can spread to others unlocking their own light and creating greater harmony in the universe which makes you flow even stronger and inevitably creates heaven on earth

@@ChristianvB1984 its not about being alone.. its about disconnecting your sense of self from your human mind. And then using the mind as a tool to spread the light of your inner self to others. You have to break the human conditioning and limiting beliefs the world has placed on you your whole life so you are not acting from the protective personality u created in response to the un enlightened world around u. By doing this u stop operating from the subconscious mind, which makes 95% of ur decisions and operates from taht false personality (your paradigm) and you begin operating frol your spirit or soul. In doing so u create more harmony in the universe and are in flow. U accept everything l, feel love, happiness, bliss and life is east and abundant. It is the resistance to ur inner self and the harmony of the universe that makes being alone painful

I liked his proposal to replace gratitude by appreciation. I am feeling it the same way: it becomes stress to feel obliged to say "thank you" for everything, because we think we have to and the comparison with others creates separation. Whereas appreciation is more inclusive, it arises from the presence and not from the ego mind. Maybe one day we will realize that gratefulness is our natural state of being. Then it is because we ARE it. ❤ I am very grateful for his precious teachings that bring peace and calm 🙏🏻💖🕊

Equations and algorithms define persistence through an "egocentric" pattern of insatiable wants and desires as opposed to "needs." Is an ontological state of being nurtured through "spiritual essence" or incumbent on spurious, porous, forms and ideas. The "Gita" draws a reflective perception "distinct" in design, for "energy" is the manifestation of a "sub set" occurring in a transcendental partition.
