14:50 the Hunter didn't attack the cows since they are not neutral mobs. They are passive. Neutral mobs would be zombie piglins, polar bears, bees, lamas, wolf etc.

Ecko, cows are passive, not neutral. Wolves are neutral mobs, meaning they attack only if they're attacked.

@@Auggiebun Look it up, they are neutral mobs, along with bees, pandas, endermen, zombified piglins, dolphins, and iron golems. Most neutral mobs will attack things unprovoked in certain situations, such as piglins, wolves, or foxes hunting, llamas attacking wolves, piglins attacking players that aren't wearing gold, spiders attacking players in low light levels, and iron golems attacking hostile mobs.

Thank you for the amazing review ECKOSOLDIER! A few notes for everyone, we noticed a lot have been requesting to make the Regular Villagers have more use rather than a roam or stay villager. Our original idea was to make the Regular Villagers not overlap the Vanilla Villagers, we always prioritize our Add-Ons to be an actual "Add On" to your worlds. We are actively going through comments and feedbacks that will be included in the upcoming hotfix next week! We really appreciate the positive comments and it pushes us build greater and better content for the Minecraft Marketplace. Here is a small sneak peak as to what you'll be getting in the hotfix (please note that there will be more added!): - Roam all and stay all button in the village landmark - Shield bug on where it gives you unlimited Resistance effect - Advanced villagers can now open doors - Regular and Advanced villagers will ignore lava which means it they will have better pathing - Regular and Advanced villagers will not go to water unless you the owner that recruited them goes to water as well - Better target detection for the Advanced villagers, they will prioritize nearest hostile entity that attacks you rather than the entity that chases you - Updated the trade for the farmer villager, 3 ingot -> enchanted golden apple to 5 ingot -> enchanted golden apple And many more! @KuboStudios will we have an opportunity to have trades with some of the normal npc villagers? Also if they are placed in a village they have more roaming space with vanilla villagers for the people who don't mind the add on and normal npcs mix?

You should definitely have it so you can make other people not be attacked when you have the attack other players thing, would work great as a guard for a faction.

@@KuboStudios thank you for this, it answers some of my concerns. Maybe the normal villagers could have limited jobs not available for the vanilla villagers? Ie wood worker, honey farmer, builder (trades concrete for stuff). This would give a use for some blocks and items currently not being traded by villagers and wouldnt impact the use for vanilla villagers.

Found an issue. I had 3 advanced villagers roaming around the day before, when I logged into my world again today, the three advanced villagers stopped roaming. I thought that was weird, so I checked the monument thingy, and one wasn't even showing up on the list despite existing, and the ones showing up were set to roaming but they weren't moving. Anyway, I just reclaimed the villagers that were shown, reclaimed the monument to see if that maybe got rid of the villager not showing up. It did not. I tried killing the villager myself, but eventually I could no longer damage him. Now he's just standing around, unable to die or be recalled... hopefully y'all can fix the issue.

I wish they could add helpful villager that could work for you like lumberjack, farmer, miner, and blacksmith since you're recruiting them also perhaps a tavern that they could go to. To rest and heal

I think it'd be cool if this add-on had one or two special villagers that naturally spawn in villages. The gimmick is that they are rare and only spawn as 1 per location, and you have to manually recruit/invite them to your village/settlement via the recruitment ticket. This will encourage us to look for other villages to increase our own.

Note when on roaming they wonder the area x amount of blocks from where placed so they dont go far from their place no roam=no movement

I'm trying this out. It's pretty nice, although I wish the normal villagers could have jobs like vanilla Minecraft. There's also a bit of balance issues imo. 2 iron ingots for an enchanted apple feels very cheap, especially since I found 6 iron ores a few feet away.

The only immersion breaking thing for me is that you basically just spawn them in. Other than that, this is really cool, and I will definitely be using this.

At this point, it is like a race between EckoSoldier and Bedrock Princess on who can review first. I do not think it is intentional, but it is funny to see one of you post a review on an addon, and the other do the same the day later. I prefer Ecko's because he speaks and explains what he is doing, he has a structure, and the videos are usually shorter and more to the point. Not dissing Bedrock Princess, just prefer an explanation and not just a visual showing of the content.

I really love this addon, but Im hopeful that will receive updates in the future. Few bugs here and there (for example, when exploring the caves with follower villagers, they can disappear...forever. Maybe they stood in lava and eliminated themselves? Probably not a bug, who knows.), but this is a must have addon. Gives me reasons, why I should care about a village, managing resources, setting up defenses, guards, hiring traders. For me its a 4 star out of five.

Neutral mobs will be friendly but fight back if provoked, so wolves, llamas and technically pufferfish are examples of this. Passive mobs like cows and sheep never fight back but might run if hit. And then obviously hostile always attack.

Its very hard ro read the guide, its not because your being colorblind rather the graident between the page and letters is almost the same and the letters are very small

The regular shield gives the same ability as the special shield, it does make the regular shield not protect you well. The katana with fire aspect does damage to you when using the ability.

sadly the only thing i don’t like is that you can have have a certain amount of a advance villager for 1 landmark. like you can only have 4 knights in 1 land mark and only 2 brutes ): i hope they change that, good addon though

The limit is there so that a village wouldn’t be too op with too many brutes, wizards, etc. It’s to balance it out.

Add-on have a HUGE bug. Shield is malfunctioning, after sneak with even regular shield ability is being activated and while holding sneak ability is being activated every 4 sec. After each activation shield is being lowered leaving you DEFENSELESS !! DO NOT BUY UNTIL THIS IS FIXED.
