EclipseClan operates more as the rogues that the Clans fear, and operate based on utility and fear primarily. As a result, please beware that there could be violent depictions in the games description, and also for the descriptions of events that I outline. Must proceed on every patrol, antagonize other Clans-Cats get advantages or disadvantages based on their nature, and how “good” it is:
---Ideal: Bloodthirsty, Vengeful, Fierce
---Good: Ambitious, Bold, Cold, Confident, Daring, Lonesome, Loyal, Shameless, Sneaky, Strict, Strange, Troublesome
---Neutral: Adventurous, Calm, Careful, Charismatic, Insecure, Nervous, Responsible, Righteous, Wise
---Bad: Altruistic, Childish, Compassionate, Empathetic, Faithful, Loving, Patient, Playful, Thoughtful
-Cats get 3 chances at a time to have a successful patrol each moon; each consecutive unsuccessful attempt will be a strike against the cat. Being unable to patrol will be an automatic strike against that cat. Once a cat accumulated 3 strikes, it will be exiled (or worse) from the Clan.
-Cats with ideal traits may have more than 3 strikes at a time, and may choose if they want to patrol, and if they want to proceed on a patrol. Cats with a bad nature must proceed on every patrol, and do not have the opportunity to decline a patrol no matter the risk.
-The leader will only have 1 life.
-All cats go to the Dark Forest by default.

Ok. So I am projecting emotions on this clan because my pet (a Red laced-Blue wyondotte chicken) was named Eclipse, and we had to put her down because she was paralyzed. So now I’m overly attached to the clan.

i watched this and became immediately inspired because im still learning how to make an interesting evil clan xd - id make mediators make people hate each other but no im too lazy i do prioritize the traits such as bloodthirsty, vengeful, fierce for the higher cats (fun fact: bloodthirsty leaders have two interesting things: 1, in their leadership ceremony all the starclan cats are scared of them and the fourth life is even given by a starclan cat! in most clans where i intentionally get a bloodthirsty leader, they are in the dark forest and the starclan cats are randomly generated. but in a good clan a while ago i accidentally had a bloodthirsty leader, checked it out, and realized that they had different messages than random things. i suppose because the leader should probably actually know them? meh. 2, theres apparently a random chance that someone will challenge said bloodthirsty leader's leadership. in my evil clan numbclan, spikestar was challenged by a cat named ebonysilk. spikestar called up her deputy at the time, toadback, to punish ebonysilk for this. this cat doesnt have to be the deputy, but it just has to be someone that the leader apparently trusts? i have no clue. the leader gets a wound, the helper gets a wound, and the challenger gets two wounds. sometimes a bunch of other cats get harmed in the crossfire too, but this time it didnt happen. also, i have no clue if this is ONLY for bloodthirsty leaders, but ive only seen it with said bloodthirsty leaders, so again idk.) continuing unlike the other evil clan that i talked about on a talonclan episode (soulclan) i kept medcats this time. i like the idea of a bunch of timid, morally well doctor kitties just trying to right spikestar's and naristar's wrongs lmao i didnt follow with most of the patrol things (or fully to the trait things. ofc the good traits i mentioned above before my ranting about spikestar and whoever else was up there are absolutely prioritized, but im too lazy to bully kind cats okay 😭 /hj) my initial plan for elders and paralyzed cats, who inevitably retire early in my ruleset, were to just exile them immediately like i did in soulclan. only gullstripe was fortunate enough to get this treatment, because shortly after i remembered he existed i decided to kill them instead. (hell yeah im mightier than "starclan" lets goooo) like i think i mentioned earlier, yes i send them to the dark forest lololol (this is partially to mock the starclan believers lmao-- I HAD A CAT NAMED ALMONDMOUND, A WARRIOR WHO CONSTANTLY HAD VISIONS FOR LITERALLY NO REASON and then he died lmao L) apprentices are sent out on patrols only with other apprentices. new warriors/joiners of the clan are sent on one patrol alone to test how they fare. then i just kinda leave them be and worship the +6 button i didnt do the 3 strike system because haha. right. lay zee. anyway thats all ive got for now dude idk whta im doing send help

There are actually unique ‘thoughts’ that leader, deputy and medicine cat can have about each other if they have ‘bad’ personalities! For example, if you have a leader who is ‘good’ (say calm, faithful) and a medicine cat who is ‘bad’ (say bloodthirsty, vengeful) there is one that pops up that says something like- “Leader is concerned about how Medicine Cat refuses to treat those they see as weak.” However, if the Leader is also bad, the message will say they approve, which is really cool!

A mediator helps Clan relationships--In game, they can sabotage two cat's feelings for one another, or benefit them (even romantically). I suppose in a Clan like this, it would be helping to reinforce/brainwash their cats, and to keep attention/discourse among other Clans elsewhere
