Very cool design, i like the laser turret orb thing on the front. If theres one thing i would suggest is to switch the ballast and command room. Water floods to the bottom of the ship so having the helm constantly flood and deteriorate is a problem.

One problem i have with over engineered subs is that the "perfected" design leaves less room for the unexpected, emergent situations. Any sub with a design flaw gives the crew a job. I want a sub my engineers can fix up so they have more to do than just maintenance, blind spots for security to respond to when breached, etc. I always have one friend that enjoys working out wiring circuits. So they get to retrofit a flood detection system to the doors and drain system. In this instance, i might enjoy the sub as is with the ballast above. Upgrade the cmd room with an added pump, rig the doors and flood systems to isolate the bridge and neighboring rooms as much as possible. Its something we have to work around

So this submarine isn't trying to be perfect. I can imagine playing games on it with my friends. It's not just beautiful. I think I could love it.

@@LucidDreamexea good point. I often forget that not every sub needs to be optimal otherwise it becomes very safe, which is boring.

In a game where most subs are expected to be about the size of the Barsuk, small subs like this and the sweet pea as well as really massive subs stand out. I love small subs because they're efficient and easy to micromanage. I love massive subs because I like to re-enact the first alien movie every time I use them.

I have a submarine with a nuclear hammer on the front for bashing deep sea monsters. (in the submarine editor there are hidden inaccessible containers full of unstable fuel rods to make it radioactive)
