Best little add on to buy for eco flow is some usb-a to usb-c adaptors so you can basically change as many of the usb-a output sockets to usb-c as you need.

A major plus for me is the fact that, if you have a reasonably large garden, which I do, then being able to run stuff anywhere for, say, a barbecue, lights, music etc is great - quite apart from the off-grid value when camping. Great review Sarah and Will. Thanks.

We recently upgraded from Bluetti eb70 to jackery 1500 pro. 16 kg 1.8kw with 3.2 kw surge but easily runs, most importantly, my nespresso machine. It has a fold down handle now so easier to pack and can even be used as a small table. Wouldn't be without it in our Cali.

Looks useful for extended off grid. Had researched prior to buying the van particularly for solar panel use. It could fit easily with Carl's roof mounted panels. Good to see the ins and outs for campervan use.

This week, I are mostly purchasing the Delta 2! 😀Thanks for the review Will, and Sarah. Just so happened I have recently purchased a Hillside camper and was looking to add an item such as this. I purchased the cover and a couple of cables to hook up Solar, at a later date. Great series of videos.... been extremely helpful! (and costly 😂)

Hi Sarah & Will, I have the Delta MAX 2000 and love it. Yes, it is not the lightest and we don't use it on every trip. We use it for off grid meetups and longer trips, that would otherwise be wrecked if there was a hook up issue. Plus, and perhaps best of all, it enables us to be more flexible...go anywhere, stop anywhere and never be reliant on hook ups. Lastly, aside from testing the super fast charging indoors on mains, I typically rob the leisure battery's power to charge the Ecoflow (via 12V) and then recharge the leisure via our 200W solar or driving, of course. So, yes, many uses and probably useful for most campers or outdoor matters, as you suggested.👍

Hello, I long does it takes to charge via the 12v socket? The solution you’ve pointed out, it seems the ideal solution. Thanks, Pedro
@SwamperJez
@SwamperJez Жыл бұрын
@Pedro Dinis not sure whether it is 6A or 8A, but on the driveway, from the Leisure battery, it will take a good day. Not the quickest and I would recommend using the cab 12V socket, while driving to and in between destinations. Either way, better than using fossil fuel generated and expensive mains energy. The leisure battery then takes several days to charge via our roof solar, or very quickly while driving.👍

I like the look of this if not the price! I have just fitted 200w of solar panels to my California so could charge this off the Load connector and then have 240v off grid for high consumption appliances. Kev on Tour has managed to squeeze the Delta Mini into the bottom of the wardrobe 😃😎

Hi, I have the Delta, and bought the folding solar panels 220W, so when the sun is out, I place the solar out, got the extra extension solar cable, and hey presto it charges, so from April until winter I can charge all my tech, inc camera batteries, for free. In my car I have a 12 volt socket in the boot, so charge it whilst on a journey.

I bought an Ecoflow River Pro & a stand alone solar panel for it last year. It's great! I don't always take it with me - it depends on the trip, and what I'll be doing while away, but it's been very handy. It charges my ebike battery, camera & lighting gear, and runs my induction hob. I also used it on a chilly evening in February to run a small quiet fan heater when sleeping at the roadside (a plan B situation!) when I didn't want to run my diesel heater which is quite loud on startup. It has a very plain case, which looks like a cool bag. I like plain bags for expensive equipment. I don't like advertising what I'm carrying when I'm on the road! It's a good bit of kit and was worth the investment. With solar on the van it has transformed by power capacity/options.

Hi I was looking to get an Ecoflow. Jackery or Bluetti and was then lucky enough to win a 1000Wh Jackery with 200w solar panels. Because of that we didn’t bother having a solar panel fitted to the van as we could use the Jackery with the panels as the hookup. There are some offers on Ecoflow and Anker power stations at Costco right now with the Ecoflow delta 1260Wh station for £730. The 160W solar panel is £258. Those are online order prices.

Great review, can it be configured to charge off the GC600 solar panel?
@CampervanTime
@CampervanTime Жыл бұрын
Basically yes but it would require a bit of wiring to do so, obviously. The GC600 has a Votronic MPPT if you have the factory solar system, which you would just need to redirect the solar panel input wires into the orange plug on the back of the Ecoflow - as the ecoflow has a built in MPPT that will convert the solar panel output into charge for the battery.

So is the Sven battery the same as the Grand?
@CampervanTime
@CampervanTime Жыл бұрын
Yes and no - the main leisure battery on the Sven is the same, under the bonnet, 92ah. The Sven has a factory option for a second leisure battery though, which is under one of the front seats (drivers I think), which adds another 70ah. A second leisure battery isn't an option on the Grand from the factory.

Brilliant video, I have just bought a Delta2 for my campervan and being able to plug it into the hookup on the van is great. Have you devised a way of using the 12v output from the Delta2 and connecting to the campers 12v system? This is something I am looking at doing as I mainly use the 12v devices in my van and going from 12v on the Delta to 240v then back down to 12v will drain the Delta much more quickly. If I can find a way of daisychaining this into the campervans 12v system then it will last much longer.

I think we all know you'd be better off with lifepo4 batteries rather than these. just something else to pack. And I'm sorry, this can't be an impartial review when you're set to make money off each one sold.
@CampervanTime
@CampervanTime Жыл бұрын
I can assure you it's impartial as we bought it with our own money and we approached Power 2 Go to see if they could give our viewers a discount. The problem with lifepo4 batteries is all of the extra kit you have to buy/change. Yes it is a better solution for that one purpose (ie the van), but when you have to buy an inverter, new charger etc that makes that option a LOT more expensive than this, and then you have to house all of that in the van somewhere appropriate too.
