I am still running on the second set of tyres which are Michelin PSR on D390 and this is still an awesome tyre. Currently have completed 25k in less than a year and still has juice left. However, I am also an ardent fan of Masseter with 3 of my other bikes running superbly on it. This is truly a marvelous tyre from MRF.

I have these same tyres 140 section mrf masseter(i dont know spelling could be wrong) on my Pulsar rs200. And I must say the grip is really good. It also is really good in cornering plus the braking performance is hands down the best even in really wet conditions.

MRF is good as long as you drive in a straight line. It's show it's true character flaws once you start to corner or drive a bit aggressively.

I know I’m gonna get hated for this but MRF se the worst types interms of riding or touring . For only commute no problem . My recommendation is Michelin Radial - can last 15+ kms Good grip round profile Hard compound can indian worst roads . Just ride quality becomes hard . Or metzelers any variant . Also it’s just 1500₹ not and I think it’s completely worth

I don't know about the Masseter (Spelling might be incorrect), But Vikasbhai's videos are really informative, so maybe I'll give these a go next time I change my tyres as I do a lot of commuting.

Chanakya Reddy Tetali - MRF REvZ is not so good and I am with you on it. However, Masseter is a different experience and has superb wet grip. I have 4 of my bikes running on it and it is awesome as Michelin PSR on my Duke.

this tyre costs 3800 in my locality But I opted Revz C that is slight costly about 4K reson is the profile of tyre & jumping from 60 to 70 would have given me slight speedo error coz speed sensor is placed on sprockets on my bike

I've already put this on my Yamaha R15 V2. Back in January ( Jan 24th precisely ). Just because you guys recommended it on the kari motor speedway. You and oggy sir are the main reason i bought it. I don't think changing the aspect ratio from 140/60 to 140/70 is a good idea, as it is going to mess up every calculation by the bike ECU. You are effectively changing the outer diameter (overall size) of tyre. The bike will be traveling more distance with each wheel rotation. Hence the speed calculated by ECU will be wrong (ECU will be taking stock tyre size 140/60 for all these calculations). So your actual real speed will be different than what is shown be speedometer. Since fuel injection depends on correct ECU calculations, that will be a problem. Also, the odometer reading will be completely wrong, distance traveled, trip meter ect.

I own a Duke 390 (2017) and I ride it everyday for work purposes. What I observed is, the stock tyres are good, that they don't skid easily. But it gets punctured a lot, at least 1/week. I am thinking of switching to hard compound tyres when the stock ones' life is end, knowing that they give much lesser grip.

Changed my back mrf tyre at 22000km. Tyres from michelin, pirelli, metzeler though have W rating but duke 200 doesn't specifically need that high rating tyre and since they are on softer side and meant for lean angles, me as a daily commuter don't want to turn like Rossi at every signal. MRF 150 60 17 cost 3500- in delhi while Continental Bazooka cost 2500-2900 depending upon your bargaining skills. Instead of writing research papers on tyres, go for tyres which suits daily needs instead of purchasing high end tyres made for high end roads. India excluded.

Yes bro this is a must try tyre, enables better cornering than metz but feels a bit heavier at the rear .. esply in first 2gears. Nonetheless very confidence inspiring tyre

hey, but will the ABS function of the duke 390 work with the upgraded tyre size? as ABS uses the speeds of individual wheels to detect a wheel lock-up. with the increase in the diameter of the rear wheel, there should be an increase in the circumference as well.

Hey vikas, I purchased 100/80-17 pirelli angel city rear tyre for my R15 v1 2011 model. Request you to let others know so that performance of the bike remains same instead of going for big tyre for small rim. 100/90-17 is a stock which is not at all good for r15. If you want I can get the pictures and video. Well maintained just like showroom bike.

floyd Philips its always possible. But why would you do that? It'll ruin the looks and the purpose of the bike. A track ready bike with a single handlebar? Naaaaah. Why do you think Duke has the sungle handle bar and not RCs? Because they are totally different category bikes. I've seen few R15s with single handle bar(made for stunts) and they look freaking ugly.

Bro when ur in traffic hug ur legs on the fuel tank firmly. And losen ur arms. Stress will decrease. U can commute in an R15 using that method for 2-3 hrs . Dont change ur clip ons to single piece

I've used this tyre on 200 NS it has superp grip but Shifting from rounder profile to a higher profile tyre affects handling of the bike it becomes unstable in long corners and and overly sensitive in turn ins. Braking wise it has phenomenal grip regardless of the rim width

I have a Pulsar 150. When its engine is off for 6-7 days, it starts in one crank even without opening the throttle but refuses to rev up for 5-10 mins till its engine gets hot. If I rev up before engine getting hot, the engine stalls. After warm up, it goes absolutely fine. Why??? What may be the reason for that?
