Yes, you have to add and remove the water yourself.

what about the stairs area will it fall off the steps?

Most robot vacuums have cliff sensors to detect edges and prevent them from falling off stairs. It pretty standard these days even in the cheapest models.

My thing if i have my current robot which is a Ecovacs Omni X1 is it worth upgrading to this the only reason i see why is the mop lifting and thats about it i don't like that it doesn't have a camera personally.

I never tested the X1 so I can't say for sure, but having mop lifting is huge plus, but I always say, if isn't broke, don't fix it. Save you money until its something you gotta have feature.

Good review!! How does this stack up against T30 omni pro? Other than a couple, the N30 nearly has got everything T30 does. One thing which I am unsure if there is any soap compartment in T30 which the N30 has?

The obstacle avoidance is night and day, so if you have pets or kids, I would recommend getting the T30. No, the N30 is the first Deebot that I know that has the soap compartment.
