What can you expect if you pay 70,000 dollars for a truck and a year and a half later it's worth less than half of what you paid! The worst investment you can make is to buy new! Where does this end? My prediction is some of these corporations will go bankrupt! Quality is no longer in the build. They put trucks on dealers lots knowing they have problems before a new owner ever turns the key!

Accurate. Most of these manufactures already went under. They got sold to another corporation, or bailed out. I've always owned Toyota's, but I have owned a 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X, since I bought it new for $27,500 in 2011. The new Frontier is a nice vehicle, but I don't want a pickup. I have no idea why Nissan didn't make a new Xterra based on the new Frontier. The 2nd Gens were gas hogs, which is why they got discontinued. Nissan also doesn't advertise. There's a reason the Titan got discontinued. Nissan didn't advertise it. It was literally the best half ton pickup for the price. If you don't advertise, you can't sell vehicles. I have no idea what I'm going to buy, when my Xterra finally becomes a money pit. Everything is massively overpriced, less reliable, and they have expensive and unnecessary electronics.

It's funny, my wife's 2021 Nissan Rogue has been the most trouble-free vehicle we have ever owned with 65k miles so far, and we've owned about 50 vehicles in our lifetimes. I think people skip the recommended CVT fluid change every 45k - 60k miles (depending on load duty), and wonder why their CVT failed at 70k miles. I've even hauled light stuff with an aftermarket hitch with no problems. But i changed the CVT fluid at 50k miles and engine oil every 10k with full synthetic. Yes, a standard tranny can go 150k miles without a fluid change, but you won't get 34mph on the highway like the Rogue's CVT gets, or the smooth shiftless response. Modern CVTs are not unreliable when properly maintained.

"The Economy is crumbling?" Say what? Canadian and US GDP in the past two quarters are sky high. This is all about the payback for dealer greed. Those early post-COVID sales were all about buyers who HAD to buy. Remaining now are guys like me who can buy, but won't because of their distaste of the manner in which they gouged customers only 2 years ago. And having spent years in the Auto Marketing & Sales Business, nothing pleases me more than watching the owners of dealership walking around "ghost-faced" seeing their showrooms filled with nothing but salespeople standing around complaining about their pay plans.🎉

I think the Stellantis situation is because of cultural differences between American Market and European one. Generally speaking, the American Market is completely different to what you see in the rest of the world (with exceptions), especially compared to the EU Market. You don't see a lot of trucks as private vehicles outside of America, the gas prices is too high and they are way too big for cities (doesn't make any sense), and Stellantis is, in the end, a European company with a big American component attached to it (Chrysler went bankrupt before the Fiat merger, twice) and it just doesn't work. GM has pulled out of Europe completely and Ford's subsidiaries are managing the business over there (with varying degrees of success), Stellantis... well... their European subsidiaries are doing fine (at least some of them) but the American ones are just... not. I wouldn't blame management alone though, the QA issues aren't solely related to management... at all...

Nissan had hybrids in America but people at that time were not interested in buying hybrids .. The JatCo CVT’s they have are far more better than what they were a decade ago I have no idea on why people keep making it an issue when all they would need to do is change out the CVT oil every 30K miles .. Lastly dont blame the company for what the dealership does on markups and don’t blame the engineering cause humans are too lazy to take care of their vehicles.. If humans want to be lazy get an electric car that has autonomous driving .. This is why so many manufacturers were pushing the who electric gender cause people don’t know what the hell they want .. This guy is not telling you the whole story with these vehicles especially crappy cheap and unreliable Toyotas. And yes, all vehicles are priced way to high. That's called greed. Has nothing to do with the reliability of the vehicle. Are you going to do a video on the Highlander RECALL?

Who was that guy that said there was going to be a bloodbath in the auto industry? (Not the transfer of political power) Oh right DONALD J. TRUMP. 🇺🇸 TRUMP VANCE 2024 🇺🇸. Oh and if NISSAN and VW pass away, I am fine with that.

@@CarlosRodriguez-hb3vq thank you for pointing out my honest mistake. You must be a perfect person. The snarky remark was not appreciated. Maybe there is a reason for the error, but a perfect person like you cannot see that. Insert middle finger here.
