Best guide ive ever seen for installing! Bought mine last week and was a bit afraid to install it myself cause im pretty clumsy and never did this before This guide helped me completely, everything is working as intended, my CPU has never been "cooler" before Be quiet! just never disappoints, sure it costs a bit more, but its SUCH a good quality and the fans make pretty much no noise at all It like you took noctua fans, but they dont look horrible

TO EVERYONE WHO STRUGGLES WITH FAN AND PUMP SPEED: Plug the pump in your pump header on your mainboard, IF YOU DO NOT have one: Plug it into a Chassis or System Fan header, and then go into your BIOS and select either FULL SPEED or TURBO on the header you plugged it into DO NOT plug the pump into the hub of the AiO, the system will handle it like a normal fan then, which will result in a MUCH slower speed of the pump, thats struggling with the liquid flow DO NOT use CPU OPT, this is just a additional fan header for the CPU cooler, that uses the same speed as the CPU Fan header So. one fan should be in the RPM header on the Hub. the rest of the fans and the cooler block RGB cable can just go in the other headers of the Hub Then you plug the Pump itself to either a Chassis Fan header or a system fan header (if your mainboard has a pump header use this one), then you start your pc, go in the BIOS and select either "Turbo" or "Full Speed" on the header you plugged the pump into Congrats, you can see now the speed of your pump, and the speed of your other fans

Please watch out how you Connect the Cables One Fan should be connected to the RPM port(this fan will give the fanspeed information to the MB) at the hub and connect pump directly next to the RPM port(PWM 4Pin)then connect the hub main port to the CPU_FAN and everything should work fine
@1989ElLoco Жыл бұрын
Thank you! This isn't (imo) clearly explained in the manual. So we were wondering why no RPM values were reporting back to the motherboard. We installed the pump header on the dedicated port on the motherboard btw. Seemed better to have it at an almost constant rmp rather than let it fluctuate at the same speed as the fans.

I am a new builder, and they really need better guidance on where to connect the wires especially from the pump and where to plug in the hub wire. On my mother board it has a Pump fan header, so I plugged the pump there and the two radiator fans to the hub then the wire from the hub to the CPU fan header. their instruction manual says nothing.
@FrankCastle516 Жыл бұрын
I did the same thing, but I suppose that this guy did it ok in the video, it doesnt really matter where you connect the pump, whether its the cpu fan header or pump (fan) header. Just make sure to connect one fan to the rpm header on the hub to make your mobo recognize the rpm of your aio fans :)

I bought the 240mm and it could not even keep my 5700x cool. On load my cpu would thermal throttle and get to 95 celsius. I tried 2 different coolers and both the same issue. Terrible when a cheap ID cooling aio keeps it under 65 celsius on full load!

@phoenixfire65592 жыл бұрын
Pure Base 500 FX will only fit a 240 radiator on the top. There are only a few midi towers of the same size which will take a 280. Phanteks P500A is the best known for fitting larger radiators as it has a lot of head room. The Corsair 4000D can fit 280 at a push but you'll want lowish profile RAM. Even and Arctic II 240 is a bit of a tight fit in this case. The pure base FX radiator is slightly on the thinner side meaning it fits snug into the pure base 500 fx.

What is the RPM on the hub used for then?
@poonholder56432 жыл бұрын
this is the golden question. In the china manual it says it will send the connected devices RPM through to the motherboard header. Im stuck on this, as far as I can make out, you will only be read RPM off one device and only if that device is connected to the RPM socket on the hub. Im a newbie, first PC build and given how quickly everyone brushes over the hub wiring including the manufactures then I can only presume it it stupidly simple. That said question remain, is it the pump motor you link to RPM port on hub, then hub to PumpFan header on board as it can draw the most and command the fans and pump from that header whilst taking RPM off pump? Some say its better to know the pump RM than the fans? Geez... the case I got came with 4xARGB fans with their own hub too inc 2x 5v ARGB (in's?) Bah im lost!
@justinfay30112 жыл бұрын
@@poonholder5643 I didn't end up using the RPM port, as shown in the video and it seemed to work out okay. The case we got, of the same line, Pure Base FX, came with a hub as well. What we ended up doing is using the AIO fan hub from the box for the two fans mounted to the AIO radiator, along with the RGB connectors. We plugged the ARGB cable from the AIO HUB into one of the ARGB ports into the case hub. We have the case fans going to the case hub as well. This way, with the AIO Hub RGB connector just plugged into the case hub, along with the case fans, the AIO radiator fans are getting the same RGB signal. The case hub RGB connector is what's connected to the mobo. So there's only one RGB connection and they're (fans, AIO, etc) are all on it. It'd probably be fine having the individual hubs, if you have more than one, connected to their own RGB connector on the MOBO, but, this is what we did to simplify it a little and everything is synced and working well. With that said, the AIO hub RGB is connected to the case hub, which connects to the MOBO. The AIO hub 4-pin fan connector (that has the radiator mounted fans) is connected to the 'CPU-FAN1' on our mobo. The fan cable coming directly from the pump is connected to 'PUMP-FAN' and the case hub is connected to 'CASE-FAN1'. Temps have been surprisingly great with a 5800x and 6800XT. Hope this helps.
@poonholder56432 жыл бұрын
@@justinfay3011 yh man it was all to easy so complicated :) Hub can't send multiple rpm signals back to mobo so the 1 is ca has a dedicated named port on the hub. I but me water pump to it so can set an alarm if it fails. Part from that they just spaghetti junction creations it seems :)
