Suuuuper niiiice! There's a guy here in town that has a MK IV jetta wagon with an Audi S7 motor etc smashed into the engine bay. When he has to service the serpentine belt he's gotta take the front clip off. 🤣 It's so bad ass but definitely doesn't compare to this insanely beautiful build!

Hey man... Love ur work.. Doing the same with a vw caddy pickup... Where can i get detailed photos of ur front control arm and hub setup.. Also the rear 4 link setup. Id really appreciate some help with my build
@macgyver51084 жыл бұрын
You're a bit "insane" Mike, and I LOVE IT! About the only thing I'd add/change is putting an additional Aluminum heat shield in the rear end above the fuel cell with a fairly thick layer of insulated padding under that like what you'd see "originally" on your firewall to keep the heat from the radiator system from heating up the fuel in the cell too much on longer drives for a little higher HP over all. "Hot" fuel doesn't expand as much as cold fuel does in the combustion chamber, not that you're "lacking" much in the power department with a V8! Plus you might have a fair amount of pressure build up in the system which may cause issues?! Just a thought! Kudos on a sick engineering accomplishment!

this is very well built, i was expecting just bodging parts together and send it, but this is actually very good! congrats man!

Wow, that is really nice. I wish you could smog that in Cali, because I'd love to build something like it out of some wild, rare chassis (Alfa 164 v8 sounds sexy). You definitely got the hamsters on the wheel with this bad ass project.

@joshdrobny935 жыл бұрын
I think you should put in a partition to keep the fuel isolated a bit more from the radiator heat. Hot fuel will only rob performance, or cause worse problems. Aside from that i love it and it sounds nasty as hell

Why didn't you use a non - rusted shell? Modding car like this requires lots of skill, patience and money, so why waste it all if in the end it's still a rust tub? weight reduction? :D
@ecstuning5 жыл бұрын
The more intricate and skillful the build is, the more Mike likes it
@jw18xxx5 жыл бұрын
Plus now a days it's sacrilege to destroy a clean mk3 she'll where as this way since half the original structure is cut so rust isn't an issue. So much structural support was added to this car..... It's simply amazing. Also with these skills could easily add to what ever falls off, and less emotionally painful drift taps

✌W ? The incorrect information was on USP Motorsports website that said they had a stage III kit for the mk7.5. They said, "Unfortunately the kit will not fit 2018 and up models. I have just had our website updated to reflect this." I contacted APR and currently they don't have a stage 3 for mk7.5 yet. I'm waiting to hear back from COBB. I am trying to do research on getting at least 385 TQ and 450 HP to the tires on my 2019 mk7.5. Anyone out there could share any information I would appreciate it. Thanks

Brian Weir you „Stance“ the Front wheels on a drift car, because the inner tyre got more traction and pulls the car to the inside while steering in the opposit direction
